This old rooster cant think straight and in fact is a "Joru ka ghulam" He pathetically listens to the grand cow and agrees with her. And yet he calls himself the gr8 patriarch........his wife is definitely a very powerful woman... and sly enuf to pretend that he is the one with the authroity ... i guess he listens because she says what her wants to hear? whatever one thing is sure....he is a weak man... unfortunately it is also such ppl who r most violent and reactionary

He has found a man for Saba obviously carelessly. skep the word care cant be found in the vicinty of that guy .... it was more like getting rid of garbage or something... and the way he acted🤢 the holier-than-thou attitude... this narrow, hell close mindedness.... the way he said that he has told the giy what happened? what is up with tha man? We don't know as yet whether he is good or not. fingers crossed but am worried because sara has no clues about who her father is ... btw i think i saw a glimpse of the man in the title song.... as a kid i was fascinated with his eyes 😆

He didn't bat an eyelid when he sees Saba's mother cry at the lousy match he has found. "Aap ne hume kahi ka nahi ........" thats also a sort of superiorut complex.... and arrogance... even though she is less than nothing now... still we made this effort ....🤢

Revolting man ...................... I hate him ever since I saw him kick Saba!!!!!!!! 😡 😡 😡 i try to console myself by the fact that each of these ppl will suffer for waht they did to saba..... the greater the crime the greater the punishment....

Adil's mother ...........................

This woman at one time was fond of Saba...... yet she thinks the worst of her just to please the cow. She is protective of her son ................. though its not of much use.

If there are two men who don't even need a mention it's Saba's father and Adil's father. The latter is a complete darpok. The former for all his tenure abroad and his education is as closed minded as a medevial yokel ......... It's particularly sad that whilst he encourages his daughter to pursue her studies, he doesn't trust her at all. All this means he cant be a good judge of character. 😭

She wept buckets when her BIL tells her he's found some donkey to marry Saba. Boo hoo........... and when she goes to Saba's room, she's cold and unreasonable. she released all of her anger and frustration and embarrassment or whatever else she is feeling on saba... Where was the empathy then? Didn't she feel anything? It was so so sad when Saba begs her for understanding and PROTECTION which of course she spurns. Instead she turns on her. y didnt she realized that being a spinster would be a better fate for saba than this marriage? again what will the society say mindset.... when will ppl come out of it ?

"Aap meri ma ho ...... mujhe bachaye is ......." begs Saba .........Didn't she feel an ounce of pity for her own daughter? for her own flesh and blood? if she did .... she didnt let it overcome her sense that saba has done wrong🤢 that she has brought fame on the entire family etc etc🤢 she is as tradition bound as the rest of them... acting as if marrige is the only solution to all the problems.....

How heartless she is is when she says, the minute we get you married we are leaving to be with your father........ just threw Saba to some destiny with not a soul on her side. How dreadful!!!! i was like how can u do that... it would be better to take her with u... and if she had to marry.... a guy totally removed from al that had happened would have been a much better option.... y not take saba away from the palce where she was the cause of shame and all that crap.... again it felt like that they ahd to get rid of her as soon as possible ....completelt sever all bonds.........

The last person whom anyone would want for a sister .......... She knows she has wronged her sister by not trusting her. Where is the sisterliness? Where is the blind loyalty to your own didi who has been so loving to you and impeccable in character. How could she have fallen prey to the cow's gimmick? If not in public, at least she could have shown Saba some charity in thoughts and words?

Why then did she feel fearful and restless when she's dressing up Saba ? She realises she is leading her to the slaughter house. Yet she has the brazenness to say "aap ne khayi banayi hai toh usme aap ......." Where did her love go?

Wallowing in self-pity and outrage, hasn't realised that by a thoughtless utterance of divorce divorce divorce to Saba he has sentenced her to a fate worse than death?he feels that he is the victim here and like everyone else in the family that she brought it upon herself... thoughtless is the key word here.......... and even if he couldnt stomach the thought of staying wuth ehr after al that had happened he should ahve at least made a phone call and tell his parents that dont ruin saba's life like this... or that have her married to adil or something..... instead....🤢🤢🤢

This one folly is going to cost him dearly. The entire story is based on this. His moment of weakness in believing his mother against Saba is going to be the foundation of destruction of a woman's life. Distrust and lack of faith are his weaknesses. In fact, he is a weak man....... or isn't he? may be .. may be not... that is stll up for grabs but i think he is a creature of some rigid values and his emotions.... or may be its like mahrush said... he is a selfish man.......... not thinking beyond what he wanted,... now that i think of it.... his wooing of saba and all could be summed up in the word "selfish" and this selfishness and thinking abt his own self r going to cost saba and him and the entire family and yeah even the kids apparently.....

His condemning the innocent Saba and backing the scheming cow has probly not gone down well with the audiences................. i dont know.... i think most of the audience was aware that something like this would happen and many r those who ahve read the novel... so i gues they were prepared.... in my case all of my anger is being vented out at the parents and siblings... with arfeen i m stil able to see him as a victim.... thoug he was also at fault somewhat....judging from utyube i guess sympathies rite npw lie with saba for obivious reasons......

The only man in the household ........ sorry the only human being in the household absolutely who still sticks to his guns despite parental pressure. The only one who tries to save Saba from a loveless marriage. He even offers marriage which his mother scuttles. His desire to bring peace betw Saba and Arfeen is evident from his phone call to Arfeen. He had the guts to do that for which I say Bravo pal .................. 👏 👏 👏 👏

I like the way he refuses to apologise to the cow. She has destroyed both lives. But Adil is a man and will get away with it. It's Saba who will be in the gallows. For the moment, I say that he would have been a better husband than Arfeen ............. but who can say what the twist will bring?????

Saba ......................... what can I say about this picture of pathos and defeat? Her pleading with her mother to help her and not get her married was so sad. "Tu bekasur thodi hai" says the mother and Saba says "toh kasurwar hi samajhke mujhe ek corner me rehene do. i won't intrude but dont get me married........."

She had the perfect look of the lamb on its last journey before death. The way she tells her sister, this mayb the last time I shall see you sounded so final. It probly was the last time she saw her.....

Poor Saba ....... did she love the wrong man? Mayb but she is happy with her choice because she truly loved him. He in his turn has to still learn the meaning of love .........

the serial's pace is very good and i am actually impressed with its simplicity,people reacting to situations,greyish character in all of the cast..no one is shown perfect as in real world we all are neither too good nor too bad like present day scenarios...we just react to situations........just like in the drama.....

i agree with you on adil......i feel his genuine affection,his self respect and selflessness..in hsi simplicity,his dressup..he may look like some one dihati.........or u can say much less knowledgeable than arfeen..but it seems hsi trust in saba was greatest,despite from fact that he was also used as mohra by arfeen's mom..he had guts to stand up ..if his mom had not interfered and made him run away,i feel things could have had better outcome,apart from arfeen's love for saba,which seem to have becoem strong post events that happened in his life,which we don't know yet.......but adil's love respect.....is most admirable ...up till this point,i haven't seen his wife in drama yet......if we find him unmarried even that would make him ultimate hero in my eyes.....
i was only tempted to write about adil for now..but am planning to make a vm on series....skepy.....with a surprise song
