Arfeen ................... one sad sack ........................
Wallowing in self-pity and outrage, hasn't realised that by a thoughtless utterance of divorce divorce divorce to Saba he has sentenced her to a fate worse than death?
This one folly is going to cost him dearly. The entire story is based on this. His moment of weakness in believing his mother against Saba is going to be the foundation of destruction of a woman's life. Distrust and lack of faith are his weaknesses. In fact, he is a weak man....... or isn't he?
His condemning the innocent Saba and backing the scheming cow has probly not gone down well with the audiences.................

Adil ..................
The only man in the household ........ sorry the only human being in the household who still sticks to his guns despite parental pressure. The only one who tries to save Saba from a loveless marriage. He even offers marriage which his mother scuttles. His desire to bring peace betw Saba and Arfeen is evident from his phone call to Arfeen. He had the guts to do that for which I say Bravo pal .................. šŸ‘ šŸ‘ šŸ‘ šŸ‘
I like the way he refuses to apologise to the cow. She has destroyed both lives. But Adil is a man and will get away with it. It's Saba who will be in the gallows. For the moment, I say that he would have been a better husband than Arfeen ............. but who can say what the twist will bring?????

Saba ......................... what can I say about this picture of pathos and defeat? Her pleading with her mother to help her and not get her married was so sad. "Tu bekasur thodi hai" says the mother and Saba says "toh kasurwar hi samajhke mujhe ek corner me rehene do. i won't intrude but dont get me married........."
She had the perfect look of the lamb on its last journey before death. The way she tells her sister, this mayb the last time I shall see you sounded so final. It probly was the last time she saw her.....
Poor Saba ....... did she love the wrong man? Mayb but she is happy with her choice because she truly loved him. He in his turn has to still learn the meaning of love .........

Yes Arwen ................ that's my analysis. And I feel all stories happen because of either fate of the lead characters or due to their weaknesses. Meri Zaat .... is an example of just that!

skep .... it was co incidence ... whenever i refresh the my posts section of my profile i see u have made another post so i read it... but reading and liking is one thing ... riting down a proper reply or critique another ... epsecially when it comes to ur posts 😊 and yes i dont have the time for that tonight ... mid term tomorrow ... teacher gave a schedule at teh beginning of the course (South Asian Fiction) but i totally forgot abt the mid so now am stuck trying to prepare for it ... another all-nighter i suppose ... off course i mite have been equally unprepared if i had remembered about the test but thats another matter šŸ˜† two novels and three short stories are on the menu for tomorrow... pretty much prepared for all of it except one novel which i havent even read yet Ladies Coupe by Anita Nair .... so i'll be up all night reading it and praying that i finish it on time ... which also means that the green bati here will be on all night because i'll be constantly peeping in here whenever i get frustrated - throwing away the book is also a good method of relieving frustration but i will still ahve to read it and all those torn pages will anger me even more šŸ˜†

gtg but one last thing ... when r u posting the answers of the quiz .....i m getting pretty curious about how well or badly i did šŸ˜†

wow ur analysis of characters is amazing skepy........

i agree with you on adil......i feel his genuine affection, his self respect and selflessness..in hsi simplicity, his dressup..he may look like some one dihati.........or u can say much less knowledgeable than arfeen..but it seems hsi trust in saba was greatest, despite from fact that he was also used as mohra by arfeen's mom..he had guts to stand up ..if his mom had not interfered and made him run away,i feel things could have had better outcome, apart from arfeen's love for saba, which seem to have becoem strong post events that happened in his life, which we don't know yet.......but adil's love respect.....is most admirable ...up till this point,i haven't seen his wife in drama yet......if we find him unmarried even that would make him ultimate hero in my eyes.....

i was only tempted to write about adil for now..but am planning to make a vm on series....skepy.....with a surprise song

I am amazed at this character. She has no sense of guilt while she is telling on her beads constantly. god the hypocrisy of it...the so called piety and evil deeds are often juxtaposed in fiction or in real life .... a sense of responsibilty is absent here... in this episode we didnt even see tha flicker of a doubt that was seen episode 10 "Khuda ka Khauff" is abs absent here. so is plain old decency🤢
She so arrogantly tells Adil's mom that "chalo hum use maaf karte hain" Get off the high horse lady .............. She even tells her husband "kaise bhai hain aapke". urgh the matriarch of a family.... doling out forgiveness like alms or something🤢
What a way she has made shortshrift of poor Adil. and even she can justify to herself that what she did to saba was rite (considering her great fears related to the marriage or her opinion of saba) how can she reconcile herself to what she has done to adil? is she thinking since he is the man he will come thru and everyone will foget abt it? more likely she doesnt give damn about anyone else.... as long as she gets what she wants... baki sab jaien bhad mein...
The minute she talks to her son, o dear........ her voice changes and trembles as if in such grief..... and i hate that self-righteous tone and smug looks🤢🤢🤢
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ...........................
