If you have your Kundali, then check it again. Actually, in our Kundalis, there are 3 types of Rashis -

1. Surya Rashi - That is Sun Sign (Pashchatya = West style...)

2. Lagan Rashi - That is Moon Sign

3. Janam Rashi - Hindu Style, which gives us the letters based on which, out names are decided.

Su Sun Sign is actually the one that is based on the Calender dates like mine is - Libra (22nd September till 21st October)
