alright guyz ... i m not good at poetry or finding images 😳 😳 😳 so all i can share with u right now is this little song 😊

this song is the title sequence of a very popular drama serial here ... "meri zaat zara-e-beneshaan" ... the title i guess seems pretty heavy 😳 it basically means that "i m a non-existent being" 😊
for the past several years, Pk dramas started following the saas-bahu formula bcos of their success in India ... in recent times the production houses seem to have realized that this formula wasnt really working here .... so now they've gone back to the previous weeklies for the most part ..... a tight storyline that has a beginning a middle and an end .... i really enjoy saas bahu serials but its often either because of the actors or a track that i m interested in .... never a serial throut the way ... i even lost interest in MRD eventually ... 😳 disappointed with the turns the story was taking towards the end
boy it feels good to be back the way i was as a kid ... eagerly sitting in front of television every week to find out what happens next ..... i saw the 10th epi of meri zaat last night and now i cant wait till next saturday to find out what happens next .... actually since the story is being told in flash back with this switch between past and present and the unraveling of past thru the present ... i know the end result of the past storyline so to speak ... but how was that end result reached? .... and what will be its consequences for the present track? questions questions .... but if this drama follows the usual format than it will have abt 24 epis in total which means 14 more epis.... 14 weeks .... before v reach the end........sigh
the reason i posted this song here is because the drama is based on a popular contemporary urdu novel of the same name .... the author is Umera Ahmed ....
Sami... i know that u are interested in urdu poetry but what abt novels? i havent read the novel (which is y i dont knw wht will happen next 😆) but i ahve heard alot abt it .... everyone appears to be praising the novel .... which is y i m recommending it to u (and i think it will be available in bookstores selling sub-continental literature) ... i intend to read it and others by the same author over the summer vacations 😊
skep, and u all 😊..... it was this way in India once wasnt it? days of tihgt scriptwriting and therefore great storytelling? those r the dramas that stay with u the most and ahve the greatest recall value ..... so if interested than meri zaat is available on youtube .... except for one and two of the new guyz .... the acting is really great as well .... and its pretty cool to see the veterans in roles in which they were not required to give exagerrated expressions the way it was a few years ago .... whic became the reason for stop watching the local dramas
and if u dont have the time or the energy to spend hrs on youtube (i saw meri zaat for the first time last night so spent half the night and whole of today catching up ....luckily i didnt had much to study today 😃) well its a pretty good song (though the sound cd ahve been better) and sung by rahet fateh ali .... 😊
so guys ... enjoy the song 😊
oh btw .... some guy translated the song in to english in the comments section on youtube .. so if u dont get any words 😕
have fun😊
