skepy na re ,i was free i started to watch ,i realized time now and and i am reading in between what u wrote ....am serious but its day here na so am also doing work too....poem is very good the last part has come out very nice see basic theme of the story from what i saw has few basic elements about this girl saba....way her name depicts she is indeed a wind..a breeze ..even her later life ,she had peace in her bitterness was not overpowering,...am still viewing so cant be sure but what i can assure u is taht this is feel i am getting about her and u wer able to capture it

Well guys ...... I told you, I have something to tell you ..... *deep breath* here goes ....

I got married !!! …. there .... I've said it .... I've been agonizing over how I'm going to break it to all of you !!!

And the fact that I'm very busy in the office was not making things easier !!!

This is going to sound like a "How I met my husband" column ..... plz bear with me !!!!😳

Well ... I don't know if you ppl remember ....I had told you once that my bro is in business with a partner .... Well .... it's him I'm married to !!! 😃

And no .... it was not my bro's idea ..... In fact he was quite stumped !!!!😆

You see, this guy ... lets call him K ... was my bro's junior in college .... and they hit off from the start .... a few years out of college they decided to start their own firm .... My bro is the technical & financial wizz and K is the 'voice' of the firm .... a great communicator and total extrovert ! He looks after sales & mkting .....

Whenever my bro was not in town, K slipped into the role of my gaurdian !! .... He shared my bro's firm belief that I was totally incapable to looking after myself ..... To me it was easier confiding in K rather than my bro ... who at times can be quite formidable .... and .... K always stood up / defended me when my bro got into one of his lecturing moods ...

Sometime in Sep 09, one of K's cousins cornered me at a common friends wedding and dropped a bombshell that K was going to propose to me .... I nearly fainted ....I had never thot of him in that way .... Then back in the office, he never said a word nor did he behave any diffly. I was on tenterhooks for that whole week .... wondering what he was up to !!!!!

Then that weekend he and his father visited us ( he lost his mother a few years back, and his only sister is married ). I promptly went into hiding, I locked myself in my room and never came out for what seemed an hour ....

Finally there was a knock on the door and my Mom entered she looked as pleased as punch. She told me that K had asked for my hand in marriage. She said that they were staying for dinner and soon K would come up and talk to me !!!

My parents took about half a second in giving their approval .... for once my bro was speechless ... he didn't for a moment imagine K would do something like this ..... But in the end he was pleased too .... taking the entire credit for bringing someone as eligible as K into my life !!!!

Can you imagine, at that point in time, not a soul gathered there, thought of asking my opinion in the matter ... my parents and my bro took the decision for me ..... and then decided to inform me !!! I didn't know if I should be relieved or angry ..... I was hopping mad that my family took my acceptance for granted 😡.... at the same time I was petrified that K would barge into my room and propose ☺️....The next few minutes were the most agonizing ones in my life ...

Finally K walked in and cool as a cucumber told me that he has sought my hand in marriage and my family accepted him ... I couldn't even look him in the eye, but I managed to blurt out that he didn't ask me !! And …..Can you imagine ? .... He had the gall to tell me that he knew I liked him and I would not refuse him !!! .

What I did next was the most embarrassing thing I ever did in my life .... I picked up my pillow and flung it at him ....Thwack !!! It hit him squarely on the face .... His expression was worth a million .... he stared at me open-mouthed .... "Where did that come from ?" He asked ....." That's for being so insufferably smug " I said ....

We were married on the 28th of Oct. I'm still getting used to K's extrovert nature. He doesn't think a thing about walking in a room full of ppl and putting his arms around me !! ☺️While for me, even holding his hand in public is a big thing.

3 months now and I admit that I'm totally smitten and head over heels in love with K ! 😍

Whew !!!! ....... I'm glad I got that off my chest ........ I was feeling guilty that I didn't tell you guys earlier .....😳

I'm looking after stores and inventory in office and it's a time consuming job .... I hardly get time to come online .... earlier I used sneak online in the middle of my work ... now that's nearly impossible .... And once I go home there's so much to do .....

Sorry guys ... for holding out on you ! .... I'm glad we're back together in this thread .... I may be a little late in responding to your posts ... but I'll come in as often as possible !!!
