I FINALLY saw Rock On yesterday after almost more than year of its release. Did I like the movie? Yes. Will I watch it again? No. It is definitely not a cult classic like Dil Chahata Hai. I think that was Farhan Akhtar's best. For that matter, I even liked Lakshya. But Rock On doesn't stay with you because of the weak characterization and mediocre acting. The plot is not the most original one and the ending is almost predictable. Yet, it is a feel good movie. It is good for a one time watch.

Next on my list - What's your Rashee? Hang in there as I plan to "catch up" with all the movies I wanted to see last year, but couldn't ...

@Mash: If you STILL haven't seen Mahi way, you're missing out BIG time....I LOVED the first epi. ....yet to watch Rishta.com....will do so tonight....but good to know that Mels, Nimrah and you have positive reviews on it :-)


And I watched 3 idiots today....A.M.A.Z.I.N.G movie!!! One of the best I've seen in recent times.....entertaining, endearing....pulls you in and engages you throughout....Aamir's character in the movie is SO adorable....this is one of the most unique characters he's played and I just LOVED the friendship b/w the three guys.

Hi Anu - did you watch 3 idiots in the theaters? And when do they air Seven and Mahi Way in US? I'll start recording it and watching it from now on....

Isha-Rohan are super together! The other accountant guy is SO funny! LOL. I like the whole concept of the show, with new couples new stories every episode.

Mahi Way --- AWESOME! i dont know what else to add that has not been said before. Mahi's family, her co workers, her friends, that golgapa chor! all of them have their own distinct characters/personalities.

I think I am just going to follow these shows.

Dance india Dance - I was pretty much happy with top 9 girls. Shakti is going a long way. I was surprised that Geeta chose that Tina girl. She was not bad but the other one was really good, but of course Tina was 'popular'. *rolls eyes*
I want to watch the boys' episode but YT sucks and other sites have voice/picture problem. Msch!

Gaurav's new show - Quit.

LNMDJ - I am still hangin' on. C'mon PD, sizzle! :-D

I like Kavya's idea of the next CC. Most probably, I am not going to be here, but I will try!

@LadyM: The timings for the Sony shows in the U.S. are the same as they are in India.....Mahi way is Sat 9 p.m. and Rishta.com is Sunday 8 pm.

*Edit: Oh forgot to answer this earlier...no, I didn't watch 3 idiots in the theatre....lol...I watched it on DVD from the Indian store...you know...piracy ka maal and all :P haha....Aaaaal ijjj welllllll ;-)

@Mitsy: LOL I agree, Kavi is really cute....I loved the first epi of Rishta.com too...Isha and Rohan are poles apart but their bickering is cute....especially that first scene when he walks into her office after he's late in the morning....LOL

DID....I agree with you....Shakti is simply fantastic...I think she'll deffo be top 5 atleast....and I agree about the other girl too....I don't get why Geeta picked Tina....I didn't see what was so great about her :S....and all that Dharmesh sir drama was weird :S lol....
