If you want to make avis professionally, you might want to downloag Imageready, which is a software people here use to make avis longer than 10 secs, also, Image Ready makes avis clearer and offers a wider variety of borders.
But if you want to stick with gifsoup, here is what you should do...
1. Create an account in gifsoup. It's free and safe, don't worry, and you don't have to give any personal info.
2. Then look for a vid in youtube (only youtube) and enter the link into the box given. Remember though, the youtube vid itself cannot be more than 10 mins, or it won't work.
3. Give the GIF info (category, title, etc.) and wait for it to load. It usually doesn't take more than a minute or so, but if the youtube vid is long, it may take up to three minutes.
4. Once the vid is ready, enter the timings of the avi you want from the vid. Remember, it does not accept more than 10 seconds.
5. Then press submit and it will give you your GIF. Under an enlarged version of your GIF, it will give you three download links. Remember, don't download any of them, but you can click on any of them to get different sizes of your avi. For a very clear avi, I strongly recommend clicking on the avatar size option and copying the link of it.
This is what it should look like so far (this is an example of my own Avi I'm using to walk you along):
If you are happy with this so far, then you can save this avi and upload it on any uploading site like www.tinypic.com, but if you want to add borders, add your signature, frames, etc, then go to this site next (after copying the link of your GIF).
From here on, you have to experiment yourself with what you want to do to your GIF, but I can tell you the basics.
To add a border to your avi, go under Edit and press Create Border. You have many options to choose from.
To add text on your avi, press the T option you see, and once again, you have a multitude of options. You can also crop by pressing the scissors option.
You can also add frames, etc, but you have to experiment with this site yourself, you'll find out more that way.
Here's what I did to the previous avi. I didn't do much, but I added a blue border and my signature. You can do more if you want.😊
You can also make vid sigs. First you will have to make your avi and then save the result. After that, you have to upload your siggie and press Overlay Image under the Edit option. Just choose the spot where you want to put your avi and press submit. Save the result.
I hope I helped.😊 This sounds confusing now, but it really isn't. It's all thanks to Lola actually that we can make avis, because she was the one who found this site.😃
