@LadyM: Ok....to start with...I liked the epi BEFORE the finale so much more! Such a nice emotional build going into it....although I found it really bizarre that they had to add this 'Brennan wants a baby' twist randomly but Booth's reactions were very interesting...and the final breakdown in the interrogation room when he yells out that he can't walk away from the baby and if he can't be involved, then he doesn't want her to have the baby....loved his acting there....and then ofcourse, everything changed and all thoughts of the baby went flying out of Brennan's head as she realizes that there is something seriously wrong with Booth.
The baby thing came suddenly, but thankfully I didn't find it so bizarre😆. I think I expected it since they discussed baby issues in the previous seasons. Anyway, Booth's reaction was worth watching😆. But Sweets' one was the best🤣. The guy looked traumatized, exasperated and what not.🤣🤣🤣
The interrogation room scene was amazing. Booth was remarkable! Thank God they showed a reason for those hallucinations. The hallucinations really made me go😕. I couldn't understand the head or tail of Booth imagining people🤣.
But the moment that was truly truly emotional was when he's getting prepped for surgery and his eyes are constantly searching for her...and then when he finally sees her standing outside the window, the way he smiles....*sigh* It's a BEAUTIFUL moment...and she smiles back with tears glistening in her eyes....their eyes spoke volumes in that moment....and their convo after that....loved that too...and then him asking her to be there in the operating room....and then that last bit when he tells her that if something happens to him, he wants her to have the baby...David acted so brilliantly in that bit....and I loved the small gesture when he just holds out his hand looking for support before he's wheeled into surgery and she holds his hand.
Words fail to explain the depth of those bits. Well, words always fail to explain the extent of Booth's adorableness ALWAYS😳. Anywho, dunno what to say that would justify the emotion, the beauty of those scenes. Simply extraordinary !!!!
Anyways....coming to the finale....my first issue....lack of emotional connection...after such a great buildup, this bizzarro out of the blue dream was kind of a letdown....So yay that BnB are married in Booth's dream....but what's the point when their entire PERSONAS are changed! Brennan is NOT like Brennan....he calls her Bren.....:S....I couldn't quite warm up to that :S lol....they are 'deeply in love' or whatever but somehow I felt like I was watching different ppl....not the BnB I actually adore...
Exactly my thoughts. After such awesome BnB scenes in previous epi, this out of nowhere dream came as a blow. Even though BnB's chemistry was at place, but they weren't THE BnB. I couldn't adore them or go "awwwwww" about them. I am just so habituated with doing this "😍" on BnB scenes, that I couldn't appreciate the intimate BnB stuffs. Although I did do this "😳" when Booth smiled after "Bren" kissed him on the cheek. Now coming to him calling her "bren", is this what he will call her after they become a couple???😕 What's wrong with her first name? TEMPERANCE. Its such a pretty name and Booth takes the name with so much affection and softness in his voice, how can anyone think of making him say any name other than this one? If not temperance, I hope he keeps calling her Bones. Bren is a BIG NO. Just as a BIG NO as Tempe is. I would love an on and off switching between Temperance and Bones though😳😆
Ok so it's kinda funny that he imagined the Jeffersonian lab being transformed into some nightclub called 'The lab' LMAO....and he made Sweets a bartender, Hodgins a writer, Clark a rapper and all the other random interns something too....but they were all so insipid for the most part :S....I found it hilarious though that even BIRAMBAU was brought back for a cameo...LMAO.....the case in the epi itself was REALLY boring.
I liked Zack's presence again. Although not in the most suitable manner, but nevertheless, his presence is enough for me.
Hahahaha, I really liked Hodgins' avatar🤣.
But the ending I can guess was a cliffhanger for ppl who didn't immediately get to see the first epi of season 5....which I fortunately got to...haha....so thankfully BnB are back
True. Even before I watched the epi, I got to know about the finale while collecting avatars and all. Off course, I didn't know everything, just saw an icon which had Booth and Brennan in hospital and it was written "who are you". So I assumed Booth had a memory loss. I got so heart broken. Then I watched this heart wrenching VM as well, and *sigh*......it made me so sad. Thankfully I read in some fansite that Booth messed up reality with story. Didn't get the entire scenario, but was happy enough that Booth hasn't forgotten Brennan completely. Season 5 premiere was FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know I wasn't supposed to watch season 5. I didn't actually. I just caught the BnB scenes from a fansite when LadyM said about the ILU bit. Dunno about the case, and I doubt it there was much about the case, since BnB clippings were spread around everywhere.
But Anu...........don't gush about other season 5 episodes. Or else I will end up watching. Well, you can gush...not in details.....😆😆. Anyway, I always get exposed to spoilers cause of my icon hunting habit🤣
