You guys can use it too if you want. :)
It has the quote "A sister is a gift to the heart, friend to the spirit, and a golden thread to the meaning of life." on it. Doesn't it just fit the bond Sitaji and Urmilaji had? (Remember the scene where Urmi told Lakshman that Sita acted as he spy during the exile?😆 Wish RS had showed Urmi asking Sitaji to do that.😉)

wow!!! such beautiful eternal sister siggy 😛😃
great work 👏⭐️

I used a different kind of texture.....does it look bad? And I tried to colorize it green...did it fit? Please tell me honestly. I can redo it if you want.😳

Awwwwwwww it's sooooooo cute Lali, love it 👏 It's gonna make a gorgeous addition to our romantic slideshow! Blending first of all was flawless... Green's one of my most fav colors as you already know, so that's a plus... the text fits perfectly... lol we need to make a youtube vid on moviemaker, putting together all our fav RS couples in their sweetest moments over the audio of "prem jagat"... it works for all of them! The texture's really pretty, and the choice of pics is so awwwww 😍 Something about them, esp in these pics, it's like their looks just complement each other... no need to be young or super hot to be a perfect pair, and they prove it! Love it Lali 👏👏👏

Oh yeah, forgot about Nazneen! She too was so superb as Kunti Ma. Actually, I can't think of anyone else who can do justice to the role of Kunti but her. I've seen some actresses who played her role in such a drab way that we couldn't really sympathize with the choices she made, but Nazneen made us understand the pain Kunti went through, that we can't help but get riled up at anyone who insults Kunti's character and calls her selfish or cold-hearted. There's this old Telugu actress, Anjali, who once played the role of Kunti in the movie "Baala Bharatham" and she too did a superb job, as well as Nazneen actually. Being a movie, the role of Kunti wasn't shown too much, but I loved each and every scene of Anjali's. I'll try to find a vid for you. By the way, I agree with everything you said about Shah Nawaz. Do you know if there were any Muslim actors in Ramayan?

True, Nazneen brought out Kunti's helplessness in her questionable moments so well... and she excelled in the "tough" stuff too, like the one or two instances in which she scolds her sons... best of all are her vulnerable moments with Nitish just before and during the war 😭 like ShahNawaz, she was understated and classy about the heavy stuff so it felt more real than the other theatrical, campy portrayals. No banging their heads against walls and all, thank God, though times did get that bad 👏

Checked out the clips, thanks for them🤗 they're both so beautiful! Will comment on them separately, but for now I'll say I def agree about Anjali! What a heartbreaking scene! RS's Kunti was pretty good as well; she didn't have as many power-moments, cuz she was portrayed as a Krishna devotee above all of her other roles in life, which makes sense because that's how she was characterized in the Bhagavatam... anyways, the actress did a good job with that angle, I think, when you see the Swapnil-Vidur clip you might agree... there's a convo between her and Akrur in the very beginning, if not the previous vid.

As far as non-Hindus in Ramayan, our vaanar crush Angad was played by Bashir - and back to BRC, his prodigy of a dialogue writer was Muslim too!!! And a Sanskrit PhD 👏Hmm, thanks for the info! Agree with you about Nazneen. Yeah, RS's Kunti was good too. She looked like a very devotional lady.

Believe me, I'd love to, but it's such a waste of time arguing with those people that it'd only take time away which you would otherwise have spent on this CC.😳 Do you still want the debate? Will try to search for the link...and there's this other one where people started saying the fame of Ramayan was really not that astounding, because it was telecasted at a time when TV was still new, and that if it was telecasted now, it wouldn't become half as popular. Do you want the link of that debate as well or do you think there's an iota of truth in what they said?😕

Lol it's ok, I'll do without 😉 thanks to ShahNawaz, I heart Vasudev more than enough to make up for all the people who don't 😆 Any thoughts though, on the feminist argument I made on the pro- side? Would it fly?

The other debate doesn't make sense at all cuz it wouldn't explain why our mytho trinity from 20 yrs ago, the first ones ever made, are in their zillionth round of syndication on 4-5 different channels right now, as opposed to all the posers made in between that were never ever shown again. There was definitely something else about them, due to which as soon as they end a round of reruns on one channel, another picks them up... they're immortal 😍Agree with you! But eh, who cares about their opinions, right?

Thank you so much for your sweet comments Loli! 🤗 Am so glad you like it! The brown coloring wasn't really my doing, it just kind of came with the pics. But I'm glad you like the Pushp Vatika text I used. Wanted a little change from the RadheShyam love text we always use for Lakhan Urmi. And you can thank Aish for the new texture...she found this 'mask' option on photofiltre (the software I use) and I've been testing it out. I'm glad you like my first attempt.

Most welcome Lallikins, it was a super successful experiment, can't wait for more like it! Do thank Aish for me 😉 And unlikely text sources are my fav, me who uses random bolly lyrics on mytho siggies... loved it! Thanks dear, will thank Aish for you!😉

Great idea Loli! Will def do a VasuDevaki one as soon as I find time. But for the two Maharaas ones, which of yours and which of mines do you want to put?

Thanks Lali! Your "ta thaiya" one, my "taaron mein nartan"... or should we assign each other new RadheShyam romantic ones 😉Okey dokey; no, I think the Maharaas ones are perfect. Unless you want to remake them.

Woooow, very nice! It looks very Mahabharat-ish!👏👏👏 And the pics are superb, especially Bheem's. He looks like he was surprised with something big!😆 Which scene did you get that pic from? And I love the new YaduVansh one! Are you going to post that here?

Awww thanks hon! So happy you liked! It's actually a palace in Mysore for the background this time. Lol the Bheem pic is from the brothers' discussion before leaving for Varnaavat, Bheem is responding to one of Sahadev's zingers about his eating habits 😆 But yay thanks for liking YaduVansh II 🤗 forgot to post here, will do now. Lol, poor Bheem!😆 And the setting fit perfectly! Thanks for reposting the YaduVansh.

I really love it 🤗 This is the kind of fictionalization of the epics that I feel is not only acceptable, but encouraged... it enhances our understanding of the character rather than distorting it... if only today's mytho-makes could come up with scenarios like this rather than the crap they dream up 😡 Yeah, agree with you! I just love this whole movie so much. It basically highlights the events of the childhood of Pandavas and Kauravas, and really goes into how the enmity formed. Bala Bharatam means literally "Child Bharatam". It's a movie on the entire childhood of Pandavas, Kauravas, and Krishna (well not so much Krishna, but he does make quite a few appearances later on).The whole situation is realy beautifully written (I even love the Nishads' peppy song before she notices Karna 😆 what's it called and what does it mean? The Nishadas' song was supposed to praise the friendship Kunti and Madri had despite being Co-wifes. The two ladies who dance with the Nishada man are his two wives, and throughout the song they bicker and try to claim him each for themselves.😆 Then in the end, the Nishada compares them with Kunti and Madri and they feel ashamed of themselves and become friends.)... and Anjali's performance is so graceful and tragic 😭 She made a beatiful Sita too, but I'm guessing this came after cuz she seems to have gotten more subtle and understated Yeah, you guessed right.😊 Lava Kusha was the 1st color movie in the Telugu movie industry, and Bala Bharatam was taken at least 10 years later, I think even more. Anjali also acted as Amba in the Black and White movie Bheeshma, and she was magnificent there too. She looked very innocent and young. She acted in a lot of mytho roles. Actually, most of her movies were mythos only. - no they're not my word of the day words, just my favorite kind of acting 😆 The desperation when baby Karn doesn't come to her, the devastation at the end of the flashback, the attempt to hold herself together when Pandu walks in... to convey so much emotion so well, clearly but not beating us over the head with it, and in so little time... it is just amazing 👏 Thanks for sharing Lali 🤗You're welcome! I remember how when I was young, I used to watch this movie at least twice everyday. There's this really funny scene where the young Kauravas plan a picnic with the Pandavas during a fun outing together, and during it, Duryodhan and Shakuni poison Bheem's portion of the food. Shakuni's son Uluka, not knowing of the poison, wants to eat the food on Bheem's plate because Bheem keeps commenting how tasty the food is with every bite, but Duryodhan manages to 'save' Uluka at the nick of time by challenging Bheem that whoever eats the entire feast themself is the strongest out of them all (of course, the entire feast is poisoned, except for the portions which the Kauravas and other 4 Pandavas ate). In the end, Bheem eats all of the poisoned food and simply goes into a deep slumber instead of dying. The Kauravas throw him into a lake infested with poisonous cobras, but Bheem breaks his bond and beats up the cobras. It doesn't sound much funny when I tell you like this, but you must watch it.😆 It's quite an imaginitive but entertaining film. I think the directors were aiming mainly for children.

This is not the same Anjali.
The Anjali of the vids I posted was a very old Telugu actress (way before RS), while Anjali Vyas was a discovery of RS.😊
