Awww I missed you too my Lallikins 🤗 But yeah, it's really a beautiful song, even just musically it's got that sweet but haunting quality like only old songs used to have... and the picturization is sooo touching, esp that scene with the guards - love it too, only RS could bother with characterization of extras, and do it so well 👏 They're first shown to be sympathetic when vasudevaki are temporarily released from the dungeon after Yogmaya has scared Kans shizzless; after the two thank them and walk out (hugging of course 😍) the guards talk to each other about what great people they were and how they wish they didn't have to hurt them 😭 Then there's this scene, and then when Krishna's entered mathura and broken the Shiv Dhanush, these same guys come in and tell them about it to give them some hope - and they apologize very sweetly too (until Chanoor cuffs them and drags them away 😡)... the guards were made out to be victims themselves, who had to supress their humanity because of Kans... so yeah, it was very touching example of RS's incredibly close attention to detail, no one else could have us talking about a show's extras like this 😆Too true! Sometimes we talk about the extras as much as we do about the main characters.😆

Speaking of touchy moments, I was converting dailymotion vids to get some SK avis for future siggies, and so far it's included the whole transfer of Balram epi from which I got that very devastating vasudevaki pic which you've used in some major tearjerker siggies... if you haven't seen it, here it is from Yogmaya doing the transfer, to her convo with yashoda, to the explanation by Maharishi Garg, to a really sad v-d aftermath convo, to Nand-Yashoda praying for the fruition of Devi Maa's promise that they'll have a baby... when you have time check out all 4 parts, something about those early epis makes them really captivating and keeps you glued (but no subtitles, so when you watch I can explain any mystery moments 😆)... but until then do check out the very beginning of the first vid with your volume low... very few actors and actresses can convey pain and devastation this believably 😭 Wow, these vids are really magical! Thanks for sharing them with me, Loli.⭐️ It's just so sad seeing the suffering of sweet Devaki Ma, but it's also so nice seeing the caring nature of Vasudevji. I'm not trying to sound racist or anything (so please excuse me), but isn't it really wonderful how a Muslim actor played the role of Vasudev so magnificently, and a lot better than many other actors? And the same with Zeb Khan (Nandji of JSK)....you can really tell they lived their roles and felt their characters' pain.

And speaking of creations I'm working on, was doing a Yadu Vansh for you along the lines of your regal Raghu one, really loved it... and while I was flipping through the post Gurukul epis to find good shots of Swapnil and "Balram" in prince gear, I ended up watching some of those early Jarasandh epis that I love but avoid cuz they make me too curious about what kind of awesomeness would've come next if it stayed in RS's hands... the way he introduced the politics part of Shri Krishna's life, with Swapnil being so cool and confident in the court scenes, I really really loved it and wish there was more. Anyways, was watching the part where the Jarasandh problem is first being discussed in their court, and Shri Krishna sends Akroor to Hastinapur to ask for help. Was very happy to see that they've kept one fav scene in, and very upset to see another one taken out 😡 The good: when Akroor returns, Shri Krishna asks how his beloved devotee Vidur was doing, and goes on to tell the story of how Dharmaraj got incarnated as him. Basicallyh, a wronged rishi got upset at his misinterpretation of the law of Karma, due to which he had to suffer the consequences of a mistake he made when he was too young to know any better. He cursed Dharamraj that because of this injustice, he would have to be born as a human who would have the same supreme judgment he has now, but no one there would care about his wise words - story of poor Vidur's life! And Swapnil's way of telling it along with his analysis of Dhritrashtra - are all really awesomely done, both informative and entertaining to watch - and luckily the editors kept them in!!! And you get to see that RS's choices for Bhishma, Vidur, and Kunti were all good, they had so much potential! It's halfway into this vid, no subtitles but I'll explain if necessary - enjoy! http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x669o1_krishna-142_shortfilms
The bad news - in the court scene that follows, they're discussing what to do since Dhritrashtra has denied them military assistance and Jarasandh has sent a letter saying that if you surrender Krishna and Balram, I won't attack - and this scene was originally much longer and much more interesting than it is now. The new version just cuts to the chase; the letter is read, Krishna stands up and says if the sacrifice of one or two can save so many we'll surely do it, and Vasudev is shown crying. They cut out this heated debate between him and a not so nice minister who is ok with this "sacrifice" about how it's not fair, Vasudev ends up tearfully asking the whole court not to let this happen to him again 😭 It ends in Swapnil putting his hand on his shoulder and saying that since you've set such an amazing example of sacrifice, I, your son, would be honored to follow it
😍 It was the sweetest moment in the most unlikely venue, and Swapnil and Shahnawaz both acted with such class - it felt soooo real - and now it's gone 😭

Woooow, thanks for this long description of the epi...it's like a full fledged update!😃 Will def see and discuss it without you, sounds like a real eye-catcher.
It's a pity so much good stuff was edited out. Someone should protest.😡

Here's Lakshman's Kul...
To answer your question Lola, why don't you put Kunti instead of Subhadra with the Pandavas and Draupadi? Since Subhadra is only the wife of Arjun, she would look odd but Kunti is the mother of all five (well, three, but you know what I mean).
