They do look CUTE but thats just about it, I dont really see much chemistry between them...... you know the "sizzling" types LOL.

LOL Ash.....well I didnt' expect a sizzling sort of chemistry from them anyways....I think cuteness is what they are working towards in that movie....sizzling toh nahin ho paayega...LOL.....the age difference is a hinderance....and Shahid is much more relaxed with Priyanka on-screen and off-screen that way....that's where the sizzle effect comes in as was obvious in Kaminey ;-)

Its kinda funny most of the actresses that Shahid has worked with are older then him! except Amrita but i dont like them two together either,

So far Kareena and Priyanka are the only two women which i think have good chemistry with him others are just Bleh.

I know yaar....it's very true......Shahid ka bad luck hi hai that all the heroines look older than him😆😆....waise I thought he made a cute pair with Ayesha Takia as well.

I think Shahid has better chemistry with Priyanka than Kareena....with Kareena, it was only in JWM cuz of the characters they played....but otherwise Shahid still held back a lot with her.....he was more relaxed with Priyanka and it showed in Kaminey.

Shahid ka nahin, heroins ka BAD luck LOL, which film did he come in with Ayesha Takia (i kinda like her she's cute).

I cant compare Kareena and Priyanka coz i still havent see Kaminey but yes from what I'v seen of Shahid and Priyanka in their interview he does seem relaxed and very comfortabel with her.

I dont really buy the "chemistry" thing when it comes to films. I think that if the script is good and its directed well then the chemistry between the lead pairs just comes apne ap LOL.

LOL that is definitely a part of it, Ash but there is basic natural chemistry that's important as well.....for example, in the case of JWM, both Shahid-Kareena had matured as actors at that point comparatively and the characters they got to play suited them to the T.....so their chemistry worked....but ONLY as their characters i.e. Aditya-Geet.....if for example, say SRK and Kajol were doing those roles, the chemistry would have surpassed the mere bounds of those characters....that is the magic of an amazing chemistry which only some actors share rarely.

In the case of Kaminey, Shahid-Priyanka's chemistry transcended their characters in my opinion....ofcourse Guddu-Sweety worked cuz of their characterization....but the natural chemistry was what took it to the next level.

Anu, yes natural chemistry is also necessary but its very RARE like you said, so when two actors dont have that natural chemistry i think that the script and the direction really works in their favour i.e Shahid and Kareena I absolutley LOATHED them two together because all the films that them two had worked in together(before JWM) i didnt see NO chemistry between them, because those movies had poor script bad direction oh and BAD acting.

JWM was directed well had a good storyline, the characters were well structured therefore their chmistry worked.

Ash, then what would you say about Love Aaj Kal?? :P.....Not that it was a perfect script but I'm willing to BET that if the roles of Jai-Meera were being done by different actors, that would make a world of a difference....so it's not JUST the script either then, right??

Saif-Deepika had NIL chemistry....just NIL....no matter HOW much they tried....lol....and it wasn't cuz of the script.

In the case of JWM....I do think it was a combination of characterization and excellent direction by Imtiaz which suited both Shahid and Kareena AND the fact that they had matured as actors by that point....
