I guess you are right. This is just reinforcing something in my mind. The only section I usually post is in the Bolly section because we laugh, criticize, disagree, and get along at the end of the day. Snark is appreciated. I usually am not up at 6 a.m. like I was today or I would have realized what I was doing. Oh well, you live and learn. The thing is I don't mind getting reported or even banned. I just mind the entitlement people have and are best friends with moderators to get their way. That is not how I roll though it seems to be the way this place is run.

I totally agree and understand. I feel so bad for some moderators. Because people are pretending to like them and are being nice to them just so they get their way. It's horrible... But oh well...sometimes the moderator is at fault too. ;)

not entirely

a mod should be a mod because of their amount of judgment and ability to be able to handle a forum and make it fun and controlled.

of course that is in no way achievable on some sections here, where members of the forum are liked and given priveleges by the mods if they like the same gay jodi as the particular mod.

Welcome to our world, Nimmi. We've been battling this issue for more than half a year, and we've become immune to the point where we just don't give a shit. It's rather sad that you have to personally contact the moderator, via text and phone, just so you can ahve your way on a goddamn forum which holds no signifigance in real life. The mods are just as corrupt. Everyone doing 'favors' for their friends, although I have come across some decent mods, but Ruchira and company ruin the image of others. It's because they live sad lives, with no friends, and the forum is their only medium to show any power.

Don't know about you, but I sure as hell ain't censoring my self. MY HOME. MY RULES.

There are some great moderators that I actually don't know well, but they are incredibly fair and shut things down when need be and foster good discussion. Actually, I love all of the moderators in the Bolly section and the ones in the Debate Mansion and Book sections are good too. Others though, well I will not comment on. Chandni, I agree that would be the ideal. Well, in happier news....here's a video.
