I loved this song when I first heard it. And I still do. Actually, this song is based on Kurt smelling like Teen Spirit, which was a joke that Kathleen Hanna wrote on a wall. His girlfriend of the band Bikini Kill, Tobi Vail wore Teen Spirit deodorant in an ironic sort of way, and he went off on that joke to write the song. Kurt was a great person as someone who didn't care about the so-called norms and spoke about many of the things he espoused in interviews, and I am so glad he talked about Bikini Kill in many of interviews, and I discovered them and became a bit of a riot grrrl back in the day. It is sad to see what has become of the punk runk movement NOW. Stupid emo poseurs, go away. Sorry, I am rambling, aren't I?

This is definitely true now and always will be.
