well u might as well go with the flow and do it for them....since u seem to have no choice......see the thing is.......u might not feel ur bday is smthing too great to celebrate......coz its ur own bday.......but for ur family n loved ones....it is a special day.....this was the day when u came into their lives.....and obviously u mean a lot to them.......so its just a way to comemorate the day when this person came into their lives which added to their lives in a better way....sorry if i sound like a hallmark card or smthing..........i mean u just have to cut a cake.......and it makes them extremely happy.....so i guess its ok......unless they ask u to like throw a humongous party or smthing.......with the works..... :))

@ Iqra - Yes, I'm going to start watching Ankahi. I'm looking up 'Pal do pal' online to see, if I can find videos for it. Though sometime in the future it should be up on YT, so will be able to catch it then.
