Who comes up with these idiotic tasks? And how is this suppose to aid in Rakhi's decision? I mean, doing army work really has no resemblence to marriage, unless they're trying to state that marrying Rakhi will be no less than a battle?

I love that scene. That was the sweetest thing ever, with the stereo outside her window. Agreed, Crowe was definitely a genius. Kate Hudson owes her whole career to him. I thought she would be the next big thing after Almost Famous before she went and become the rom-com type.👎🏼
Wait, how did Hum Tum ruin it for you? I contend that When Harry Meets Sally is probably one of favorite romantic films and one I will never tire of watching. Though I don't own it, I have it recorded and have watched it many times. Hum Tum was awful. And I have no hesitation saying it.
Agreed on what you said about An Officer and a Gentleman and Sleepless in Seattle. I miss that era so much too. 😭

I reckon that Crowe writes the best dialogues. I actually teared up when he won an Oscar for Screenplay for Almost Famous-- another film I absolutely love, and yes, Hudson was phenomenal, and had a bright future ahead of her, but alas! Although, I'm very disappointed with Crowe's last venture-- Elizabethtown. It was actually a pain to sit through, but the man is a genius. Did you know that Almost Famous was pretty much a biography on his life? His taste in music is impeccable. I'm officially in love with Sigur Ros after Vanilla Sky.

I miss that era as well, and I miss Meg Ryan. She was amazing in both films, and I don't think any of the recent actresses have been able to live upto her (romantic comedy's, I mean)
