Ohh you live in the Midwest Nimmi? So you get to experience all of it yearly, be it hot, cold, spring, fall. Everything is available for you. I am not a big fan of the cold because I feel like heat is bearable but the cold is intolerable, especially for me. And this is coming from a person who lives deep South. LOL. It may be because I have never lived in a cold area before because prior to living in South Texas, I used to live in a desert. I resided in Saudi Arabia so I was used to the dry heat.

Do you experience lots of tornadoes?

Actually, the heaviest snowfall of the season occured last time in May. It usually takes me 20-30 minutes to get to Uni, but on that day, it took me 2+ hours. Nothing short of a blizzard. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Well there goes my plans for tomorrow.

Oh, I am really sorry. I often joke that I am built for more tropical climates. Like I feel comfortable in humid places, and I don't even mind India in the summer as much as I do North American temperate climate winters.

@Zainu: There are a ton of tornadoes that happen here. Hailstorms happen, and like destroy people's roofs and siding too along with that. Last Saturday, I went to an outdoor concert, and I found out when I got home that I was outside during a tornado warning for the county. Like my whole family was in the basement, and I thought it was just a really bad thunderstorm I was out for. I got completely drenched though, haha.
