Yeah, they all do! I've decided not to watch Yeh Rishta anymore and will just stick to two shows which are Bidaai and Balika Vadhu. I hate the whole concept about these shows. I mean there is so much more to a woman than her just getting married and looking after the house. These shows in a way condemn women and I hate that.

I'm just watching Miley Jab Hum Tum now.

I agree -- marriage is NOT the only thing. They're basically saying that the girl should stay at home and work whereas the guy is better at and should be working. Spare me the torture. 👎🏼 Even K-ekta shows are better. At least those women have some self-respect.

I'm watching Bidaai right now! Alekh and Sadhna are so adorable. You should try and catch up. Sadhna is on a wheelchair as she got shot by someone from the parivaar which is undisclosed yet and Alekh is looking after her. I forgot to mention, Kis Desh. I still watch the show and Prem-Heer had the most romantic dance in Monday's episode.

The worst part is their parents are actually encouraging them to stay at home and not do anything outside the house. My parents would honstly be upset if all I ended up doing was cleaning up the mess at home and cooking. God has blessed us with the brains to learn and there is so much more to explore.

I think I will catch up on Bidaai tonight. I meant to do it this morning.. but fell asleep. lol.

Exactly. Akshara's character at the starting of the show seemed like a strong one now she just pisses me off with shying away all the time. No one's that naive. Rajshri makes me soo mad too, she's like constantly finding faults in HER OWN daughter instead of even for a minute thinking that maybe Naitik's family could be wrong. Its irritating!

The most irritating characters are the mother-daughter duo! Less said about them the better. Even in Bidaai, Vasu does work outside the house. She is a social worker by proffession and I admire the strength of her character. If you do have the time, try to watch Balika Vadhu. It's a show which passes a strong message against child marriage and the hardships a widow goes through in life by the society and her family.

When did Balika Vadhu start? It'll be hard to catch up on all episodes, but will watch a few.
