Soha - I am still in high school.. my last year! Umm.. I had applied for Sociology actually but then was directed by my parents to also apply for pre-med because they don't understand what Sociology is!! Typical Indian parents!! What is your major?

I am in my last year of hs too..finally will be getting out of the nauseatic building in 3 months.😛

same here - my parents don't tend to understand what political science is..the only science they understand is biology.

Zainab - I applied to mostly local colleges on Long Island and in NYC!!

cool nyc! i have always wanted to live there.

that reminds me i have to apply for fafsa.

welll that depends on where my parents want to send me.

i have applied to one school in houston-- and if i go there then i'll stay home which makes sense

and then other 4 school that i applied to are not in houston..they are close to home, but then if i go there then i'll be moving out.

basically at the end scholarships/financial aid is going to be my deciding factor...my parents say they are oen - minded...i hope so! lol..jk they defnitely are but at the end i have to decide.

but i am still pretty undecided.

i am so sick of my schedule...to give you an example..by the time it's 3rd period i want to go home (and i dont have a first period..we have seven classes a day)
