CHAPTER THREE
Sharon was pacing around in her hall since past fifteen minutes. The clock struck nine and Swayam wasn't home yet and she was now too restless to see him.Just as the doorbell rung she ran towards the door to open it. Swayam was standing with a tired smile on his face. Sharon smiled and hugged him tightly just as he came in.
"Finally!" Swayam mumbled engulfing her in a hug.
"Where were you? I asked you to come early." Sharon said against his ear closing her eyes.
"I know. . . Just lost the track of time. . . Sorry!"
Sharon smiled and kissed his cheeks.
"Go and Change fast!" Sharon turned to leave but Swayam held her hand and came in front of her scanning her face as if searching for the reason of her unusual glow.
"You'll know." Sharon answered reading his mind and left for kitchen.

Swayam changed into a T- Shirt and three fourths and came down to have dinner. Sharon was standing near his chair stealing glances of him as he walked over the distance. She indulged herself in plating as he stood near in the table and frowned.
"Is someone coming to our home Shar?" He asked confused seeing the third plate.
"Yeah!" Sharon said lowering her eyes.
"Who?"
"You'll have to wait to know more about it, I guess!" Sharon said biting her lips as excitement and nervousness surged through her veins.
Swayam looked at her clueless.
"I don't understand. . . How long do we have to wait?"
"Eight more months." Sharon said and Swayam ran his thinking horses and when they stopped his mouth was open. He looked at her at once in attempt to get a confirmation to his thoughts.
Sharon smiled widely and took her hand in his, kissing it lightly, kept it on her stomach.
"I am pregnant. You are going to be a father." Sharon said and fixed her eyes on Swayam's face.
He stared at her with his eyes widened for a minute motionless before gasping a breath and then he screamed at the top of his voice
"OMG Sharon!!!!!!!!!! You are. . . ???I. . . You are expecting our baby???? I. . . I am going to be a f. . .FATHER! We will have a Child! Oh lord!" Swayam jumped in excitement and scooped her in his arms chanting Thank you to Sharon as she giggled in his arms.
"Oh Sharon I love you so much! You just gave me one more reason to love you a thousand times more. Thank You! Thank you! Thank You so much Shar!" He hugged her and kissed her hairs and sighed in happiness. This was indeed the best gift ever. He was going to be a Father.

Sharon was sitting on the bed and was caressing an excited Swayam lying on her lap.
"Wow Sharon! A beautiful baby girl will be adorning this room in some months. . . Oh! I just can't wait now!" Swayam said, his eyes fluttering dreamingly.
"Girl???? How do you know it's going to be a girl and anyways I want a baby boy." Sharon said smiling.
"What? Why? No! No! A girl is going to come, my princess" Swayam said getting up from lap.
"I thought I was your princess!" Sharon said mocking offence.
"No! You are my queen Shar!" He replied lovingly.
"Awww. . .And still I want a boy to come." Sharon replied smiling evil-ly to which he pouted with a frown.
"Listen. . . You don't understand. . . You don't know how guys are. . . They are the most hooligan kind of species ever walked on this planet." Swayam said with a serious expression which was forcing Sharon to laugh.
"Really? And what girls are like, Swayam?" She asked trying to sound genuine and hiding her laughter.
"Oh! Come on Sharon. . .They are sweet, beautiful, cute. . . Every good thing God can make!" Swayam said lost in a reverie.
"Sw. . .a. . .yam" Sharon couldn't resist now and broke into fits of laughter and took him in a lovely hug. Gosh! He was so cute at times.
"What? I am serious!" Swayam's cell phone rang suddenly breaking their sweet nothings.
"Hello?" Swayam received the call getting up from Sharon's lap.
"Hello Sir?"
"Yeah Pia Say!"
Sharon was watching him talking seriously over phone when suddenly a naughty plan cropped up in her mind. Smirking at her awesome plan she moved closer to him and bit on his neck seductively leaving Swayam startled.
"No Pia! Don't do. . ." And she did it again. Swayam glared at her to stop but Sharon chuckled silently at her helpless husband. He was having a professional conversation and his wife was torturing him with her kisses.
Sharon kissed his cheeks and turned to attack again. She sucked the crook of his neck as he tightened his grip on her waist trying to stifle his moan. With Sharon's assault it was getting difficult for him to keep his voice straight. Sharon was busy in showering her naughtiness on him when she heard the urgency in his voice and stopped.
"No Impossible! No Pia. . . Cancel It! Tell them I can't come! It's okay if they cancel the deal."
"What happened Swayam?"
"Oh! The Malhotras want me to come to Ahemdabad for three days and now I am not going anywhere leaving you AT ALL." Swayam smiled proudly.
Sharon looked at him for a second and snatched the phone from his hands.
"Hello Pia! Sharon here. . .Listen e-mail Swayam all the details and book tickets for Ahemdabad. Got it?" Sharon instructed her carefully.
"Yes Ma'am"
"Good. . . Bye!" Sharon cut the phone and faced a clueless Swayam.
"What did you just do? Care to explain?" Swayam demanded crossing his hands across his chest.
"Swayam you can't sit at home during my whole pregnancy tenure right?" Sharon explained softly.
"Of course I can! I will shift office to home! I will work from home." Swayam said blinking his eyes as if it was the most obvious thing to do.
Sharon's eyes narrowed.
"I don't want to go."
Sharon's expressions stern.
"No I will not go!"
Sharon gritted her teeth.
"Okay! I guess I will!"
Her face broke into a smile and he sighed looking at her.
"Just for you to know its plain unfair and this is going to be my last trip between these eight months" Swayam said and pulled the comforter over his head.
Sharon loved his over protective caring hubby so much. She pulled the comforter down and gave a sloppy kiss making him open his eyes.
"I love you" She said pecking his lips.
"I love you too! And my revenge for what you were just doing a few moments ago is due." Swayam smiled and she adjusted herself on his chest, her usual sleeping corner.
"And it's a girl" Swayam said smiling lightly with closed eyes and Sharon rolled her eyes with a "We'll see".
