We spoke to Vrushika and asked her some questions sent by her fans about her Jordan trip. Read on if you want to know the best moment of her Jordan Trip, message for all her fans and much more..
Share your best Jordan moment that you are going to cherish forever?
When we were dancing, the belly dancer came up to us and praised us, so ye ek best moment tha mere liye as she was a professional belly dancer and was so so good, and she coming up to us and praising and appreciating us, which made me feel really happy. Waise best moments bahut saare the! Like we were planning to make a video near the railway track where Anita Hassanandani had her photoshoot. So we had thought of something which actually flopped but us video ko banane mei jo mazza aya, wo mast tha! We were running here and there, it was really funny, so it was also one of the good moments.
What was the feeling when you got to know that you are a part of Telly Calender?
Actually first I didn't know much about what this was all about. When Sunny called me and said we are shooting for a calender and we want you to be a part of this, the first thing that came to my mind was that I always wanted to do a photoshoot but I never expected that it will happen at such a big level. I just said yes to him without thinking much, as I wanted to do something new and this was such a big opportunity. I just thank god, everybody and most importantly Sunny Arora and Marinating Films as it was because of them I got this chance. Without them it wouldn't be possible. Mere mind mei bas yahi tha ki yar mai pose kaise karungi, Muje hasi ayegi toh mai kya karungi! (And here she burst out laughing again!)
Any favourite food you tried in Jordan?
Yes actually someone brought that cuppa mania, so maine toh bas wahi khaya! Par one food story I will tell you, we went to this place, sabse pehle aaya Pasta, it was looking so tempting so when I tasted it there was no salt, it was only boiled with some carrot added. Then comes the roomali roti, it was looking so attractive while it was being prepared but when I tasted, wo pura khaakra jaise tha! (laughs), but yes the hotel where we were staying - Movenpick, the chef made chocolate pastry with strawberry something, so that was the best. Maine honestly kuch jyada nahi khaya as I was also not well too.
How was your bonding with other Telly Calender girls?
Everyone was really good. Sabke sath achi bonding hui! I was the youngest, so iska muje bahut fayda hua as kaafi pampering mili mujhe (Laughs). Whenever they used to meet me, their first question was always this- are you okay? Are you fine? Khana kha liya? So everyone was very concerned and they were all really good. They took good care of me just like a family.
What was the best part of your Jordan trip?
Bahut saare best parts- like travelling in the bus, listening to amazing music, clicking so many pictures. We also went for a Safari so that was also really good and I enjoyed there! I want to go for Safari once again. I didn't go into the swimming pool though, also couldn't go to watch the Dead Sea. Toh inme se hi ho sakta mere liye!
Any difficulties you faced as it was your first photoshoot ever?
Yes of course difficulties were there, as I was feeling very shy. It was my first photoshoot, I didn't even knew how to pose. So jab mera make up ho raha tha, the photographer came and so I asked him how to go about it, so the way he said it, just have an attitude, mujhe itni jor ki hasi aayi. My shoot was in Petra, so there were so many people around and all the tourists were actually looking at me so it was really awkward for me. But everyone around me cheered me as even they knew it was my first photoshoot, they were like go Vrushika go! So I got confidence and it went well.
For the first time you were away from your friends and family so how was the experience for you?
The trip was good and it was fun, but I also missed my family. I was staying alone in my room, and also there was just one hindi TV channel that was coming, even cartoon shows was in their language, Saraswatichandra bhi socho unki hi language mei aa raha tha! So what to watch, but the good thing there was WiFi connectivity, so maine mom se video chat kiya and whenever I used to get time, I used to call my parents and talk to them. If I was there for 2-3 days more, I would have surely cried. I was the only person there who used to go and sleep early but sabse late bhi mai hi uthti thi!
Fans loved your belly dance and were going gaga over it, share more about your belly dancing experience.
Actually mujhe bhi nahi pata maine kya kiya! But belly dancing was one experience I didn't actually want to miss. It was just a half an hour fixed show, I was actually late for dinner also that day but for this show I didn't even eat much and just went to watch it. Firstly it was very awkward as there were so many people there, but then the dancer came and performed. She was actually very very good, I really loved watching her perform. Someone pushed me and Nia, and that's how we started performing too and everyone joined us. The song, the beats were actually so good that even a non dancer would groove to those beats. It was truly a very nice experience.
Your favourite picture of yourself from Jordan trip?
The one where I was jumping and I also loved my photoshoot picture where I was with the stick.
What was more fun for you, exploring Jordan or the photoshoot?
Both were actually good and fun, but if I have to pick one then I would say phootoshoot, as it was really good.
What did you shop from Jordan?
When I actually went there, I hadn't thought much about shopping and then I just got an hour to shop. So I just went to one shop and bought 4 watches. Jyada kuch nahi dekha and watches khareedne mei hi pura 1 hour lag gaya (Giggles)
If you were to pick a place in India for Telly Calender shoot, which place would you choose?
(Laughs) Pata ni yaar, main toh Rajasthan ke bahar bhi nahi gayi hu as I really hate travelling. Let me think, yeah I would like Kerala side mei beaches and greenery, Rajasthan mei but only desserts mei photoshoot karna.
How was your experience working with Marinating Films?
It was a very good experience working with them. When I was leaving for Jordan, I was very tensed as I didn't know them much. Even airport se Jordan tak, kisi se jyaada baat bhi nahi hui thi. But once we reached Jordan, it was like a family. Even now when we talk, it feels kash ek do din aur reh paate, toh aur jyada bond kar pate! Ashish, Sunny and others they actually took care of me and treated me really well as our parents do. Mujhe bahut acha laga unke sath kaam karke and actually mei they have become a family now!
Your fans were more excited than you for this shoot, so anything you want to say to them?
Sach mei bahut kuch bolna hai, but samajh nahi aa raha kya kahu? I was also very excited, but mujse jyada saare fans excited the, so seeing their excitement mai aur bhi jyada excited ho gayi! I used to receive so many messages on Facebook and my fans have really encouraged me a lot. They actually boosted my confidence up with messages like All the best, you will kill it and so on. Seeing their messages I thought, if I didn't try and didn't give my best for them, then it will be all a waste. I wanted to give my best for them, to do something which they all like. Fans hamare liye itna karte hai and they support us so much so even we should do something for them. When Sunny told me that his Facebook inbox is filled with messages for me and also that me and Shantanu have such an amazing fan following firstly I was shocked, but I also felt good hearing it that there are so many people that love all of us, the whole of D3 cast. It's actually a nice feeling to know so many love and appreciate the whole team, I am really happy that so many people supported us that's why we are here. Agar fans nahi hote toh I would have been sitting at home and Jordan ka J bhi dekhne ko nahi milta. (And we heard her giggling again!)
