Sorry to whoever had to waste their time writing essay comments over half based assumptions from my statement. When I say "Rey's degradation", that does not automatically mean I am referring to his moving on. As a Rey fan, I absolutely HATED Rey in AK track because he was an ass & a jerk, & he was shown to be the stupidest person which was NOT how the character was originally written :) Just because a bunch of people are suddenly oh SO VERY understanding of Rey's potrayals because they want to justify Palki, will not change anything. There are numerous reasons that I can give as to why I felt Rey was degraded but I have no intention to because hey...that is nowhere near what the topic was about.
2.Also...anyone who feels that more screen space equates to good writing, lets not even go ahead with the conversation.
3. I was under the impression, after having read a very illuminating post, about how SwaRon fans don't give a rats' ass about anything non SwaRon related, so its strange to find you guys on the what...4th page of a clearly ArSha discussion, especially when the very same fandom has told us on more than one occasion to stick to OUR favourites, & not teach them about THEIR favourites. What happened to practising what one preaches? :/
Now don't tell me it was that one line lone Swayam mention on er...page 3? :/ In answer to your questions, you see to ME, lack of screen space doesn't equate to degradation, nor does abundance of screen space equate to justice to the character. I didn't feel Swayam had undergone THAT level of degradation. It was a passing statement & not even close to the main focus of my comment. If anyone interpreted me as saying something else from it, well, not to be rude or anything but...not my problem. I am not getting into another fight over whatever backstage theories exist for no reason.
