Vrushika woke up with a jolt. It was that same stupid dream, haunting her from the past 2 weeks, which was disturbing her again. She shook her head in disapproval as she remembered that irritatingly amazing dream. Her lips pulled into a smile as she remembered that dream, but then, she realized what she was doing and gave herself a sharp blow on her head to stop herself. It was wrong... so wrong. The dream was just amazing, but it was immoral. It didn't make any sense at all. It wasn't supposed to make sense. But it seemed so real... so genuine. Because, it was about him. And everything about him is genuine... and incredible. Cursing her dream, she got out of her bed to get on with her daily routine... get up, freshen up and go to the sets, and today, they had to shoot a dance sequence... so, time for extra practice.
As she was about to get up from her bed, her mobile buzzed, making her jump. She sighed in relief as she saw that it was just a message. Not bothering to see what it was, she sped inside the washroom to freshen up and leave for the sets. As she came out after finishing her bath, she saw her mobile's screen displaying 3 missed calls and 2 messages. As she opened her call log, her eyes widened in shock when she saw that he was the one who had called.
"Oh no!!!!! I missed his call again!" she thought, as she rushed out of her room. She then remembered the 2 unread messages in her phone and opened her inbox, only find his messages. Frantically, she opened the first message which read "Good Morning lazy bones! Wake up and get ready soon. Gotta be down for practice." Smiled as she read it. It was his daily routine to send her wake-up messages because alarms were of no use for her. And along with a good morning, it was his usual habit to send atleast 15-20 smileys in the message. With her lips still pulled into a smile, she opened her second message which said "Come soon. Laal Ishq sequence to begin soon." Only then did she remember that she had to shoot a dance sequence with Swayam... sorry, Shantanu on the song Laal Ishq from the movie Ram Leela.
-Vrushika's P.O.V-
As I entered the sets, my stomach was filled with butterflies at the very thought of dancing with him. Moreover, this dance was supposed to be a passionate sequence. My stomach did funny things to me when he just touched her, even if it were just a light brush against my skin, let alone touch me with intensity. I still remembered the effect he had on me when we shot for our first intense dance sequence Khamakha. But then, I had just brushed it off thinking that it was just discomfort. But that feeling that occurred whenever he touched me seemed to grow every passing day, but never seemed to die.
Suddenly, I felt the same feeling in my insides as pair of warm hands slid around my waist. I felt the same warmth, same intensity that I used to feel, whenever he touched me.
-End of Vrushika's P.O.V-
Abruptly, she was pulled out of her dreamland when she heard someone yelling her name. Gathering up her jumbled thoughts, she found herself in a slanting position, as if about to fall on the hard ground any moment. But she didn't. Only then did she remember the tight grip around her waist that prevented her from falling headlong on the ground. She looked up only to find a pair of soft brown eyes looking at her. Those eyes held nothing but concern... for her. She could recognize those eyes anywhere. And it belonged to only one person... and that's Shantanu. Her trance was broken by Shantanu's voice again.
"Vrushika! Are you okay? What's wrong with you? Kahan kho gaye ho? Can't you watch your step while walking?" he asked, anxiety clear in each and every syllable he uttered.
"Voh... main..." she stammered, not knowing what to say. She surely wasn't going to own up that she was thinking about him!
"Oye madam! Kya hua? Kahan kho gayi ho?" he asked again, clearly impatient.
"Voh... kuch nahi. Main toh Sid ke baare mein soch rahi thi!" she said, finding that this was the best reason she could give.
"Sid?!!!! Kaun Sid?" asked Shantanu, a bewildered expression on his face.
"Arre! Sid! Siddharth Malhotra!" she said, as if everyone in the world should understand that there is no other Sid, other than Siddharth Malhotra.
Shantanu shook his head in disapproval as she left him. She was getting crazier day by day, and he was the unfortunate person who had to bear it.
-Shantanu's P.O.V-
Oh my god! She is just getting crazier every passing day. Lost in thoughts of Siddharth Malhotra?!!!!!! I mean, seriously?!!! Anyways, that's just the way how girls are. But, how can she be so careless?!! Agar use kuch ho jaata toh? I just can't take it!!
Wait a minute... did I just say that I can't see her hurt? What's wrong with me? I mean... I can't see her hurt because she is my friend. Just friend and nothing else.
-End of Shantanu's P.O.V-
His thoughts were interrupted by someone tugging at his sleeve. He turned back to find Amar staring at him as if he were an outer space alien.
"What?!" asked Shantanu, not able to understand what is Amar is playing at.
"Dude! Main kabse Tannu Tannu' bolke chilla raha hoon, aur tum kahan kho gaye ho?" asked Amar, giving him a comical look.
"Arre kuch nahi. Aap mujhe kyun bule rahe the?" asked Shantanu, oblivious to was happening around him.
"Dude! You are on. Laal Ishq sequence is up next. Jaldi chalo aur change karke aao." said Amar, giving him a push.
Shantanu hurried to his room to put on his costume. He couldn't believe that he lost track of what was going on, just because of her!!!!!! Pushing this nagging thought out of his head, he put his costume on and hurried out. That was when his glance fell on her... she looked just stunning in that red ghaghra and black blouse. She looked at him nervously, her cheeks going crimson, when she found that he was looking at her. Both of them took their positions, blood gushing all through their body, making them uneasy. They tried their best to avoid each other's eye, very unsuccessfully. The music started and so did their dance. In no time, both of them were moving about the floor, gracefully and flawlessly.
Then came the time... where he had to hold her, close to him. As he approached her, her heart was banging against her ribs, as though it'll break through any moment. He was aggressive, yet gentle, as he pulled her by her waist towards him. Blood boiled under her skin when his fingers touched her bare waist. Her breathing grew irregular as his breath fanned her face. His hands traced her waist, forming a pattern on it. His lips closed near the corner of her neck. Her heart beat stopped for that one second when he lightly brushed his lips to the side of her neck. She knew that he didn't mean to... but, it felt good. It felt so close to her dream. She closed her eyes to feel that moment. She wanted it to last forever.
He smirked as he saw her cheeks reddening. His fingers tingled when he touched her. His had a strange urge to cup her face in his hands look into her eyes, read what she felt. He pulled her closer, his lips moving towards her earlobe, his nose brushing against her neck. His grip on her waist grew tighter as he traced the corner of her neck with his nose, her smooth skin creating havocs in his senses.
Suddenly, a thunderous sound of applaud pulled them out from their dreamland. It was only then they realized that the song was over and they were actually in their last pose. Awkward, they just moved away from each other unwillingly. The next moment, they were surrounded by the rest of the cast, appreciating them for their performance and their unintended chemistry. But, they were too preoccupied to notice all this. All they wanted was to be alone... and think.

Vrushika changed from her costume, back to her usual attire. She sighed in relief. She felt thankful that the song had ended then and there. If she were in his arms one moment longer, she would have surely turned back and pressed her lips against his without anybody to stop her. She shuddered at that very thought. She mentally cursed her dream for giving her such ideas. But why? Why did she feel like this when she was around him? She was afraid that she knew the answer and even more afraid that she liked it.
He sat on his bed, dazed. His lips pulled into a smile as he remembered their so called "dance". The way her skin felt under his. The way his hands perfectly fitted her waist, as if they were made for him. As he realized what he was thinking, he mentally slapped himself for letting such thoughts into his mind. As much as he tried to avoid this thought, he knew that this was what he wanted. He wanted her... he needed her. He needed her to be in his life... forever.
As the day came to an end, they put aside all their worries, their mind travelling back to the moment they spent on the dance floor. They knew what it was... and they knew that this was not the end. There was more to come and... there was forever to spend
