second thing Making new frnd & doing things for him/her is not a sin (unless you dnt know about his/her dark side) ..& these things cant ruin your character (Just my POV)
Third thing Swayam never stop loving sharon but he stop showing it ...& I dnt think I need to explain the reason ...
