Preface:
Shantanu misses Vrushika on the sets, he does not realize it though. Vrushika on the other hand, is waiting for these three days to get over. Same day a new intern has joined the creative team, very hot, very smart and very classy, has been part of his inter collegiate theatre plays out of which all of them won because of his creativity. So thinks of joining a youth show, impresses the seniors, agrees to be an intern. He is 22 years old. Likes the show and appreciates everybody's work but is really impressed by Vrushika and her improvement. He strikes a chord with everyone and his seniors also find him hard working and talented. So an already long story short, HE is the perfect guy, I mean you have to fall for him, he does not leave you a choice. And this fact is known by the guys(is something burning?) and the girls(how did the room turn so hot?)
After 2 days...
Vrushika and Shantanu have an interview abut how fans missed Vrushika and SwaRon and what all gifts have they sent for her as get well soon presents. The interview is as cute as it always is. Aryan saw Vrushika in person for the first time. Did not realise what made her so unbelievably sweet yet so vulnerable.
Vrushika: U always do this, kabhi mujhe bhi bolne diya kar, saara tym mazaak udana zaruri h..!:(
Shantanu: Oh plz maine dekha tumhe kya kehna tha... but chill na yaar thoda boht toh chalta h.. Kya tum sahi mein tensed ho kya??
Vrushika: Oh no.. Tujhe lagta h..
They laugh again... they have no idea how comfortable they are with each other. They might criticize each other but don't want either of them to change. They seem to be lost in each other, but they will never realise this feeling. They both were equally happy to be back together, ummm... I mean for shooting!!:P
Aryan: Hey guys... shot is ready! Btw that was a cool IV.
Vrushika looks at him and is confused.
Shantanu: Oh!! He is the intern everyone is talking about. Vrushika, meet Aryan. He joined in 2 days ago and you know, he practically knows everything about us... bada cool h!
Aryan and Shantanu laugh but Aryan seems to be lost.
Aryan: Hi Vrushika, I'm Aryan. Its really nice to finally meet you. I think You are adorable.
Vrushika: Oh. Accha... thanks!! (blushing and giving innocent si smile)
They both shake hands.
Shantanu doesn't know how to react. He didn't like the adorable comment nor could he understand why he didn't like it. He just wants to take Vrushika for the shot!
Shantanu: Chalo shot ready h... phir daant khilvaogi kya!!!
Vrushika: haw... kab hua meri wajah se aisa,!!!(suddenly forgetting about the compliment and the cute guy, ego par baat aa gyi yaar..:P)
Shantanu: Accha accha, theek h chalo ab.
Shot ho gya. Sab rest kar rahe hain. Shantanu is juxtaposed on why did he felt that way earlier, he wants to shake the feeling but its not happening. Then Ameeta ma'am calls out for Vrushika and Shantanu.
Ameeta Ma'am: accha ab yeh segment toh ho gya h.. Ab hum yeh vala twist introduce karenge. Its gonna turn the upside down giving it an amazing pace and zing.
While she is explaining, Aryan comes and finding no other place sits with Vrushika. They both smile. Shantanu feels that previous uneasiness again. After explaining the whole thing,
Ameeta Ma'am: done?? Are we good to go??
Shantanu: Yes, ma'am. By the way, though its none of my business, I must say this twist is really going to be interesting.
Vrushika: Yes ma'am he is right.
He smiles... after all he has got used to her praising him and it makes him really happy.
Ameeta Ma'am: Thank you.. But the credit goes to Aryan its his idea.
Shantanu: Really amazing job dude..
Aryan: Thanks.. Its my job!
Vrushika: But its really nice. But ma'am will we able to do it? I mean, will I be able to pull this phase ?
Shantanu opens his mouth to say something. It was always the same scenario, Shantanu giving confidence to Vrushika, then teasing her, making her laugh and she was now habitual to this, it made her feel so inspired, she felt incomplete if he did not preach before a tough scene.
But the voice which comes out to motivate Vrushika is not of Shantanu...
Aryan: Oh rubbish... Of course you can. We all have seen your work. You will be able to do it, just trust your instincts and believe in your self like all of the crew does.
Vrushika grinned at him and thanked for such kind words. She thought he was really sweet.
Shantanu was burnt. That was his job, he thought only he could say things to inspire her and nobody else, how dare he? And why was Vrushika agreeing with him? Oh god what's happening to him? He decided not to say anything to show his disapproval.
And as for her, although she liked him appreciating her but he wasn't one she wanted to do so. For a moment she waited for Shantanu to say something but it did not happen. How he could not say something when he knows how much she needs it and its only his voice which gives her the confidence she needs? She felt bad and practically thought it was rude but then realised what was she even thinking. Doing an imaginary head shake, she went on to pack her things
After this they packed their things up and were sitting in their respective rooms.
Shantanu was still in his room, wondering about the past events, how much fun he and Vrushika had had, how he never leaves a chance to pull her leg, how she reacts to them cutely but never misunderstands, how people are mesmerised by their chemistry, how comfortable he is around her, how she makes him feel protective about her, how he has cared for her when she was not well, how lonely he feels when she is not around... and then today she is smiling for some other person, is even getting motivated by him and how dare that Aryan say all that, he wasn't wrong but he was not allowed.
His phone rang, it was Vrushika.
Vrushika: Kahan h? So gya kya?
Shantanu: Nhi Nhi... aata hun.
She called him for the rehearsals. Rehearsals started, Aryan was not around.
Shantanu was relieved to see things getting back to the same. They laughed, teased, fought and most importantly they danced. And then while packing up,
Shantanu (teasing her):Aaj zyaada galtiyaan nhi kari tumne... Aryan ne zyaada motivate kar diya h lagta h.
Vrushika(blushing) :Nhi ji... Aisa kuch bhi nhi h.
Shantanu: But jo kaho banda bada cool h... aur talented bhi.
Vrushika(to herself): Aur cute bhi...
Shantanu: What!! Kya kaha...(Not sure if he heard what she just said..)
Vrushika(embarrassed): Talented(covering up)... talented toh h hi... kya twist socha, h na?
Shantanu(little bit annoyed): Hmm... accha h but itna bhi kuch khaas nhi, although gud for a first timer.
Vrushika: Chal na... itna toh badiya h.
Shantanu (irritated): Tumhe nhi lagta tum zyaada hi tarafdaari kr rhi ho??
Vrushika (embarrassed again): Nhi... main toh bas aise hi...!! Accha theek h.. itna bhi khaas nhi h... Maan lee teri baat, ab Khush??!! Chal ab mujhe jaana h. Bye!
She didn't know why he seemed annoyed, but one thing she knew she couldn't see that. That annoyance was something that bothered her now, all she wanted him to do was to smile, be happy, laugh and make her. And so she covered up and gave in. But she was the same with everyone, right?? At least she thought that way!!š
She got up, took her bag and walked away. After a few steps she turned and smiled at him and said "Good Night" and then finally left.
Shantanu(smiling): Bye and Good night.
Shantanu(to himself): haan ab khush.
It was more than enough for him. Her agreeing with him, her smiling at him with her innocence and cuteness was more than enough to make him happy. What was happening to him? With a wide grin, he left the studios for his home. As for her, content settled on her face. She knew he was happy and this made her happy. At least now both of them can sleep at night.š
Things continued normally as they were. Never did they realise why they thought what thye thought nor did they disclose it to anyone. They forgot about it soon and all we know that even if that day is not today, tomorrow or day after tomorrow.. but for sure it will be someday!!
[P.S. This is just a piece of my imagination. Its not meant to be offensive in any way or hurt the feelings of any member whatsoever, and if it does " I am sorry" well in advance!!:) This is my first OS. Criticism is most welcome because I really need views on how I write and whether I should continue writing!! Please ignore grammatical errors and if you think that it could have been better and can be improved do let me know!!!:) ]
And I would also like to thank all the SwaRon and VruShan fans for inspiring me to put my thoughts on paper. Had it not been for them , I would not have realised that my love for Swaron and VruShan is so much more than I think. Now I know, I'm a crazy fan and have accepted it whole heartedly. I've been a silent reader to so many of them ( for which I am sorry, now I'll make sure I comment on whatever work I like but the problem is mujhe samjh nhi aata kya likun!!:P) and now would like to tell all of them How Amazing They Are!!:))
