The footloose day when Kria's mom agrees her to dance but on a condition that she will have to leave DIL and DANCE forever...
She feels bad but she goes in the last minute and does the performance.
Rey smiles seeing her but she avoids looking into his eyes and his 'All the best' will be incomplete before telling her.
His expression say he felt bad and also something was really not okay...
He thought maybe Kria was tensed with the dance performance.
After the dance finishes,
he comes n meets her and compliments her dance n the way he looks at her is questioning and doubtful again...
When Kria smiles and walks out, he follows her ...
He pulls her by the arm looking at her.
I personally love the way he does that, it gives the situation whole new meaning.
They were So-In-Love and his action clearly depicted it, he was holding onto his love.
"Mein tumhe kab se aawaz laga rahi hun..", his voice is soothing n possessive as always.
Their sweet little convo where he says he knows she was tensed but still she didnt talk to him since the morning, the little hint of pain in his voice cannot go unmissed.
He also finds her lost and says he was talking to her.
"Mujhe jaana padega", when this line is voiced by her.
He glances at her waiting for an explaination.
He knew things were not good and something was serious but he couldn't possibly figure out the reason since he doesn't know what exactly happened with Kria.
N his moment when he was lost and standing there disheartened that she didnt talk to him says how much he was hurt.

this all will make sense to Rey when he knows the truth..
When he knows Kria was restricted in home before footloose and then was allowed with DIL or DANCE no more in future...
He will finally understand why she did that.
He will be her support, he will be the one who motivates her and makes her pursue her dream when she comes back.
He will bring back the DIL DOSTI DANCE in her life.
