well, i am not sur it was shakti who made palki leave. she is dignified enough to not be a part of the show herself rather than cause somebody else's exit. the decision was by a majority of the cast and crew, and shaks and kunwar being popular were somehow made to represent all of those people.

other than that i do agree that shakti wouldnt have joined the show again if she knew that somewhere her character wouldnt end up with rey, cause she knows that our fandom has waited too long for a reunion and would probably be crushed if we recieved yet another heart break.

kriya is the character the show was initially about and even though other characters have played an extremely huge and significant role in this story earning much praise for their work, the show description still mentions kriya's name.

Yep its pretty obvious , Forget Shakti , NO dignified actor would take up such a role on second terms .

And her fan-following was one of the primary reasons for her return . KriYansh are the leads for sure

Shakti Mohan the awesomeness to play a second kick to Rey along with another actress who's decent in her own way but definitely not a dancer by a long shot, let alone someone who can match up to the magnificence of Shakti!

I know Rey was made to "fall in love" with another character in the show...but that had been such a classic case of 'majboori ka naam mahatma gandhi' 🤣...so much so that it clearly showed on our Kunwar dear's face during IVs n stuff 😉
