Tellychakkar.com has been serving juicy updates from the sets of Channel [V]'s popular show Dil Dostii Dance. This Cinevistaas Ltd show has been topping the charts and is doing consistently well for the channel. And things only look brighter as there will be a twist in the tale with the comeback of not one, but two girls (Taani essayed by Vrinda Dawda and Kriya played by Shakti Mohan) into the life of Rey (Kunwar Amarjeet Singh). However, Tellychakkar.com did mention that Palkhi Malhotra who has spearheaded the show as Project Head from the production house's side from the day of inception of the show will no longer be a part of it.

Well, from the time we posted this particular story, we have been digging deep to know the exact reason behind Palkhi's sudden exit from the show that she developed and conceived, and holds so close to her heart.

And what we found is indeed complicated...

A reliable industry source tells us that this conspiracy of ousting Palkhi from the project had been looming large for some time now. None of the actors in the show were happy with certain creative calls that Palkhi made for the show. The cast always felt that Palkhi was being biased towards the character of Swayam, essayed by Shantanu Maheshwari as she was more pally with the actor. There is also a buzz doing rounds that Kunwar Amarjeet Singh might have played his part too to force the channel to bring in a new creative team for the show.

A little birdie also told us that talks with Shakti Mohan for her comeback has been on for some time now. And the actress who struck gold with this show and got popular as Kriya might have apparently refused to rejoin if Palkhi Malhotra was on board. And based on all the allegations made, the channel obviously had to take the ultimate decision of building up a new creative team to take the show to the next bigger level.

So how did the buzz of Palkhi being biased towards Shantanu start? Well, we hear from the sets of the show that Palkhi and Shantanu share a very good off-screen rapport and are often found hanging out post shoot at malls and other places. And this, in fact, irked the other cast members more, as they had a solid backing to voice that Palkhi was being biased towards Shantanu's character, even when Kunwar Amarjeet Singh was the main lead on the show.

We tried to call Palkhi again (who had earlier confirmed to Tellychakkar.com that she will be moving out from the creative team of D3 post November 2013), to know her side of the story to this conspiracy played very tactfully to oust her, but the lady did not answer our calls. She did not respond to our text messages too.

Our efforts to get in touch with Kunwar and Shakti too failed.
