Hey its not like that todays youth do not bealive in god, ya may be we don't go temple every day n may we don't do aarti every day but we do wear traditional in festivals, we do pray to god on our special day n festival.

for me i will love to see swaron doing aarti as i bealive in god n for me yeah bohot subh hota hai, this is my belief so that will be aww moment for me. N vrushan looking so cute.. Vaise mere clg Mae bhi Ganpatij atae hai jaha aarti students hi kerte hai so itz not like saas bahu

I still celebrate Saraswati Puja... I even fly kites during Vishwakarma Puja and Sankranti. Celebrations are fun.

My problem is not with the celebration, if you look at my post.

I've an issue with the aarti together- it is a major cliche and I think SwaRon could do better without cliches. More than having an issue, it seemed very alien to me.

Cliches are cliches for a reason coz they always work and impress viewers and frankly at times I want writers to do cliched stuff on SS...in the process of doing something different every time they ended up butchering a lot of tracks...😭

It is not about believing or not believing... jeez! Is my post so incoherent?

And I won't generalise on today's youth- I know both pious believers and hardcore atheists and they are all my friends.

Traditional clothes, auspicious occasion, praying is all fine.

I just did not like the use of the stereotypical "aarti" sequence on SwaRon. The immediate association I find is that of Star Plus dramas.

Well blame it on my stream of consciousness. 🤢

I have no problem with Aarti. Im glad that D3 is finally celebrating festivals. Its a nice change. And there is nothing like that it can't be shown in youth shows. Aarti will be SwaRon like Im sure. Even its beginning was like that. Sharon telling she doesn't even know whether to move the aarti clockwise or anti-clockwise and Swayam chuckling from behind had the SwaRon touch. :) Nd Im sure during the aarti we wl get Swayam hlping the Diva doing an aarti for the first tym. We never get to see things like these in the aartis of Star Plus shows. :)

WORDS! I too feel sometimes something predictable wud hav been btr in some places than what we had actually got.

First of all, thank you for understanding my post. And yes celebrations are welcome- in fact ghar pe puja bhi dikha sakte hai, but sensibly.

Yes that Sharon touch there, was the only saving grace. Even then I'm so not looking forward to it.

It is just so alien to me- I don't know if I can explain. It's like undoing the SwaRon I have known.

I just hope they stop playing these kinda saas-bahu cliches on SwaRon even if it's done with a SwaRon touch.
