I'm sure there will be a number of posts on the forum today about the amazing SwaRon camping date we got. So I thought, why not make one on the deepest and most sensible character on the show. Today's episode explored the various different Swayams we see, from the super romantic Majnu to the protective and thoughtful friend
Swayam has always been regarded as a perfectionist, someone who is almost never wrong. But it is scenes like this which make us realise that Swayam is indeed a human, who gets affected by things. More than anything, for me,the last bit of the episode was really impactfrul since it showed Swayam finally letting go of some of the pent up anger, sadness and worry he had within himself for a long time. It's rare when we get to see Swayam letting out everything going on in his mind and this was one of those instances. The poor boy was shattered. After such creating such a beautiful memory with his girlfriend, he comes to college to find out she had lied to him and kept many things hidden. Not that it was entirely her fault, but anyone would feel bad knowing that the promise they had made oh so lovingly just a few hours ago had been broken right in front of him. To see his beautiful dream crashing right in front of his eyes.
Coming to the friendship bit, Swayam has always been the one to rely on. And then he finds out that his best friend chooses to support someone he hardly knows against him. It was as if someone has stabbed him behind with a knife. But this was even worse. Because his best friend has backstabbed him and left him all alone to bleed on the ground. What came out today was Swayam's frustration for constantly being taken granted by everyone he loved and admired, as if he didn't have any emotions at all. The last scene was truly heart wrenching for me to watch when I saw Swayam almost ready to burst into angry tears, his expression a mix of anger, pain and a range of other emotions. From being the elegant love boy setting up a camp by the riverside and teaching his girlfriend how to make tea so romantically, he had become an angry young man.
And in no way was he wrong. Being blamed for something he had not done, let alone thought. Yet he managed to keep his calm and not go berserk unlike other characters. Swayam is one character I will always love for this very reason. There is point till where a person's feelings can be stretched and played with and his feelings have now become a joke for others to mock.
Of course, the credit goes fully to Shantanu Maheshwari for managing to pull off such a deep and intricately designed character so well. Only he can portray all the emotions Swayam has welled up within him. Kudos to Shantanu Maheshwari and his amazing talentđđź
