Please don't think that way. The creative team knows the importance of TaaRey so they would never introduce a new character. And replacing Vrinda was not what they wanted. For the storyline to progress, they needed Rey to be focusing on his dance alone. They've maintained that Rey's heart belongs solely to Taani and that Taani too loves him deeply. The creative team needed some time and space to develop the story so they needed TaaRey to part ways on screen. They chose to keep TaaRey's love intact while introducing some physical distance between them. Since the show is dance based, they'll follow Rey's progress in life while the story develops. I'm sure that at some future point, once they've achieved substantial progress with the story and portrayed admirable success with the dance team and Rey they will show Taani's return after her climbing the ladder of success. The creative team haven't removed the character from existence, Taani, Swayam's sister and Rey's love, exists and is pursuing her dreams somewhere else. Some day, when she has achieved her dreams and become a confident and successful individual Taani will return to Rey. Their love will stand the test of time. TaaRey's love was strong enough to let go and set free. So deep a love cannot have any less happy a reunion than that. I like to think of it in these terms. Why not be peaceful that Taani was portrayed as a sensible, intelligent, talented and loving person with a beautiful nature and a kind heart and not just as a silly college girl with no ambitions or aspirations. The character has been been respectfully treated in my opinion.
