"No like...Sirf aur sirf Pyar"So it has almost taken forever for Sharon to reach this stage. A stage where every thought,ever decision,every dream,every conversation of her's revolves around Swayam or is related to him in some way or the other. Sharon has finally reached a stage where her love for Swayam can almost overtake his love for her.😊
And that's exactly what's been happening in the past few days. Sharon has never let go of an opportunity to get closer to Swayam,drop hints at him that she has major feelings for him now, or make him realize that his comfort and happiness means a lot to her now. But the sad part is,after all the wait we've had to endure for Sharon to reach this stage,and when she finally has,the joy and excitement of it all is slowly ebbing away now. And I don't need to go into the details of why it is so.
We got to see an amazing passionate SwaRon sequence in the past week,also an unexpected and extremely beautiful SwaRon hug,and a surprising shower of love and adulation from Sharon's side this time which overwhelmed both Swayam and the entire SwaRon fanbase.
But while the entire fanbase is still recovering from its repercussions,our once-upon-a-time loverboy Swayam seems to have gotten over it sooner than expected.He hasn't been given a single scene where he wonders what had suddenly gotten into Sharon,why she's being extra nice to him these days,why there is always a glint in her eyes and a glow on her face every time she talks to him. Swayam was always shown to be one of the smartest characters in the show but now he's been reduced to a dimwit who just cannot see the highly visible displays of affection Sharon has been directing towards him.
So the SwaRon fanbase,being optimistic and hopeful as usual,thought that maybe..just maybe they're waiting for the 'grand' NDC semi-finals to get over so we could see some major break through from Swayam's side too. One where he'd finally open his eyes and realize Sharon has broken her promise of staying away from him, way before him and is waiting for him to do so too. Well,today NDC semis ended and we got a break through all right,one which literally broke our hearts. A SwaRon fan seldom expects Swayam to be rude to Sharon,or try to push her away from himself or ignore her advances so when he does it stings more than necessary.
So all these points makes us wonder that after the stir the 'Tum Hi Ho' sequence created, after all the excitement it paved way for, all the hopes it gave rise to...was it really worth it all? Was it just another random sequence/moment shot just to silence us fans,like its being done since forever? Was it just to show us that yes,Sharon is in love,but Swayam has no clue or doesn't want a clue about it? Was it just to show us that CV's are still going to take an eon to give us a SwaRon confession and this moment was just to keep us silent till then?
A staunch SwaRon fan like me cannot help but ponder over these questions because our hopes have been crushed more than often. We were hopeful that the hospital moment will take a major advance in SwaRon's story but the change has been very minor. We were hopeful that Swayam will quickly realize that Sharon's feelings have more than evolved from 'like' to 'love' now,after that moment and the smaller ones that followed. We were hopeful that now...finally...at long last...SwaRon will put aside all their unpleasant memories, their compromises,they distances, their inhibitions and take a big leap in their lives,by getting close to each other for real this time. But,are these hopes going to be trampled once again? Are we going to have to grit our teeth and wait for another year again for that grand confession we've been longing for since 2 whole years?
And after all these questions...one can't help but wonder...ki galti CV's ki hai, for raising our hopes up a cliff and dropping it from there without warning, ya humari hai,for never learning from our mistakes and clinging to those very hopes time and again.
Bottom line is...SwaRon confession is only happening after Swayam gets back to his senses, after he realizes finally that Sharon is in love with him,after Sharon decides that this time it should rightly be her to confess first,after she comes over all her inhibitions and approaches him open- heartedly and after a million other hurdles and random,illogical sequences that'll be coming our way.
As for me,I'm already planning to watch the SwaRon confession with my kid, boy or girl jo bhi ho. Coz I'm sure I'll be married by the time it happens. So excited. 😊
