well i'm a dancer---although i dont really intend to make it my career, i'm busy with my CA and b.com...but dance for me is like my breath.

i'm mainly a classical and contemporary dancer...but i love any kind of dance really.

dance is expression...its joy to me.

i dance to relieve my tensions...i dance to entertain myself. i dance at the academy and have come first, second ---etc at some inter school and been part of two inter collegiate winning group dances.
but -----just dance----because you can-----because it makes you happy...thats why i dance.

i copy a lot of d3 moves and use them while choreographing my own dances...and of course i'm a huge fan of the dancers and swaron{old and new} and kriya .

Well, dance definitely means a lot to me.I am basically a trained classical dancer and have given many stage performances.i now love all forms of dance specially contemporary.😃 I love dance reality shows and as a dancer love delivering and watching good dance performances. And even though i watch D3 mainly for DIL and DOSTI, DANCE is what D3 is all about and i love all D3 dances.😊😊

P.s. awesome post.👏 No doubt D3 is special as it is india's first dance show and whatever fandom we may belong to DANCE is the factor that binds us.

I'm a satisfactory closet dancer. Being the owner of a highly unfit body, that's more than folks around me could imagine in even their dizziest dreams. Then again, I revere dance for the art it is and people passionate about the same. I however can only get my exceptionally lethargic arse to move whenever I am so messed inside the head that I need to burn it out of me. I dance stress out of my system, that's to say.

A very good post, sometimes we're all towel-clad Kajol in the bathroom, whether or not we like DDLJ. I for one, don't. 😆

Epiphany.

my mom put me in dance class wen i was like 5.. nd i hated it.. i would rather stay home nd play then. but then i started enjoying my classes at some point of time nd by the time i was 10 my mom said i stopped walking nd started dancing all over the place instead😛 from then on i've been training in Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattom nd ofcourse some bollywood for school nd coll functions.nd now started with contemporary as well.
I love being on stage.. for me its the best place on earth:)
"Dancing is like dreaming with your feet" nd im a big dreamer tat way😊😊

Started watchin D3 for the dance although now swaron love has taken over.
but still a big fan of D3 dances and dancers!!

You should upload some of your performances on youtube or dailymotion and share with us all. And i'm sure if palki ma'am/d3 team comes across it, they would feel very warm that people are being inspired by them

*gasp. you don't like DDLJ!??! *cameras zoom in my face as i faint.
haha jk, i was a little late in watching DDLJ and after i was done watching it, i was honestly like this is what all the hype is about? (although i did get emotional when my SRK was being hurt) I think it might have to do with the fact that i'm a romactic freak (due to the lack of it in my life 😒) and so all the movies that have been inspired by DDLJ i've seen before i even saw DDLJ.

I have been dancing for the past 16 years!!! To be honest, i used to hate dance classes in the start but never thought that dance which i used to hate will one day turn into something which is very very precious in my life 😳

I dont dance for any groups in a professional way, but i do dance in school concerts, competitions and my dance academy programs!! 😃

I think i have answered your questions 😆

I've had one official dance class. Yes ONE. I was 10 and the teacher had a dandiya and she was spanking the kids with it and then she continued to harass my tumka's. I cried because due to my age i hadn't hit puberty yet and that women expected my tumka's to be like madhuri dixit's or s/t! I can't assure you that my tumka's post puberty are well improved.

Dancing makes me happy. It makes me forget all the problems. its a good stress relief. You don't have to be a good dancer, just dance for yourself, and trust me when you do that you will think that you are the world's best dancer. Just be happy and dance.
