I was waiting eagerly for this dance from the day the promos of Swaron's skate dance were out, but unfortunately when finally It came on air, I was disappointely hugely in every department except the dance moves.
Song impression -- Well, the song failed to leave any impression on me as the CV's tried to shuffle between both the couples, due to which the charm of the song was lost.
Song Selection -- I do not know why this song was selected itself, coz it had absolutely no connection between the song and the dance moves. The lyrics just did not gel with whatever the dance sequence was shown. It only geled with the part where Taarey was shown crying and the lyrics were something like -- "Mujhse yun Na pher nAzar". para (Sorry do not know the lyrics)
Lighting -- Man !! The lighting was extremely bad. They were so much that literally I had to tear my eyes to focus on Swaron. The expressions were very hazy and could be seen only when they took some close shots of the couple.
Expressions -- I know, I would get lots of tomatoes, eggs, and chappals for stating this, but I would have to state that Swaron were not able to give the expressions which this song demanded, reaosns can be anything -- constant flips of the scenes so viewers unable to get into the mood, bad lighting, or immeresed in their dancing completely, whatever they were, I was not able to get the expressions of theirs which the song demanded, they fell flat for me.
Editing -- Well !! let me just not start on this, coz the editing was so bad that the charm of this song was only lost. In order to show both the couples, the editors just did not focus on the Swaron dance, due to which the whole dance which was so special for the whole team, was finally left as a joke, as the audience were unable to focus on the dance at all, due to the constant flips of the scenes.
But stating all this, I would like to appreciate the dance moves which Vrushaan did, coz whatever they did though not flawless but as a newcomer to this type of dance, they were beautiful, but unfortunately, I would only be able to give them credit for their dance moves individually and not be able to appreciate the segement as a whole, as it was disappointing for me.
I know Swaron were new so they could not get in a lot of moves, so maybe the CV's geled both the couples together, but it was a very bad move from them as the essence of this lovely dance was gone. I would have appreciated it more, if they would have shown only this dance segment, though small, I would have enjpyed it more and caught the mood of the song, but right now I can only say
