Dolly Dii: Oh! We just wanted to let U know we had… of course it is because D3 has completed 2 successful years and

Palki Mam: Yes

Dolly Dii: U have… what should I say… whatever it is that's what I said to people love it, hate it, bash it, do whatever it is… but D3 is a force to recon (establish a recognition) with…

Palki Mam(laughing): Amazing! I mean 2 years just passed like we… as if we just blink and it just passed away. So ya… I mean the greatest thing yesterday was… we finished yesterday and we were still number 1 on the chart so I was like OH! THANK GOD otherwise we would've not been very happy about yesterday. So we were very excited about our 2 years and everything… But U know it's so important to be… U know… to be number 1… otherwise it's very easy for people to say k ARRE AB TO CHALO OLD HOGAYA HAI SHOW, VO TO BUDDHA HOGAYA HAI, VO TO BUDDHA GHODA HAI KAB TAK BHAGEGA… that kind of an impression… so I was very happy though we didn't fare very well as in the numbers and all that great… but ya it is number 1 on the charts so it is good.

Dolly Dii: That's good to hear. So I just wanted to tell U that fans have united on this occasion. And whether they agree or not they are very thankful to U for having given them KriYansh, for having given them SwaRon, for having given them TaaRey, for having given them Vicky, for having given them Neha, for given them ViHa… So they are thankful for everything and

Palki Mam: No, I'm thankful to them. U know they actually kept up with our madness and it's just really really… and I just don't share just for the sake of it… No I mean it… and THANK U and… these kind of gestures that I see… I see all these fans sending me, talking, fighting, bashing each other… U know… sending gifts, the kind of love, the kind of hatred… It only and only equals to one thing which is called passion towards the show… It is negative or positive, I think passion do desired as passion for one and for all. So many people… the youths of today is amazing. It's amazing and I'm so thankful to them for that actually. They watch us, they like us and it's because of them that we are what we are today.

Dolly Dii: Ok. So special mention I would like to give is to Rashi, who actually alerted us about this and so she's made a beautiful post with all the pictures like how they sort of it evolved and so it has been very much appreciated.

Palki Mam: Oh! Can U mail it to me?

Dolly Dii: I will. I will surely. And then also want to tell U another thing, Channel V and ITvF have something in common…

Palki Mam: Aaa!!!!!!!!! What is that?

Dolly Dii: D3 is a topper on both.

Palki Mam: Wooowww!!!! Amazing. It's not just Channel V yaar, it's the whole youth of India that U have journo not just the Channel V. Actually it's ya… it's all across the youth. So..

Dolly Dii: It is global

Palki Mam: Ya… U have common.

Dolly Dii: So I thought I should share this with U. And do tell us what's happening? What's coming up? What are U giving us now? Next.

Palki Mam: Hmmm… To speak honestly, we really… we're trying to do something that we have not done before. We are getting less or more… it's called the growing up. Every one grows up. Whether it's us or it is people or it is the show. So I would say that D3 is growing up a little. It has grown up. We have dealt in romance, we have dealt in childhood masti that we have done. Though I must say I'm gonna retrain someone of that, but ya we will get into a little bit of mature narrators where we will see the kids struggle. I mean I keep saying that struggle because U know life is about struggling, U know doing the best, coming up with the best and it is about survival of the fittest, who will stay who will not. So we will basically… as we have started an entire thing where the kids are… they have got in to the professional world and everything. At the same time we have also introduced a track of national championship. So of course they'll have to make a lot of choices between them as professional beings and them as students of the college which has actually given them a platform as dancers. So U know… While we're doing all of this we want to in a scene to introduce Swayam's father who is not… not typically like how a normal parent is. U know how a normal soch NAHI TO NAHI HAAN TO HAAN. The father is not against dancing because he thinks that achcha chalo theek hai, it's a time pass, he can do it, aisa koi major problem nahi hai. But as a career a lot of people… a lot of people still don't think that one can make a career in dance. So yes, he comes from that thought and that ideology which actually shakes a lot of people why it is not with Swayam, but it is also the life of Taani, it is also the life of Rey, therefore Rey and shaking up the pillars off of the show, which is Swayam and Rey, and their life is shaken up. How the life of everybody is actually getting shaken up U know… So U know… therefore Sharon's life… I would not say Sharon's life shakes up. In fact somehow the twist of the fate is she, as she actually comes closer to Swayam. She's really… see why not Swayam is a lover boy, what all Swayam could do for me. So now today… when she knows what Swayam is, and what he portrays to be in front of his father and what he actually want him to see. So it is a very different kind of a emotion we are playing with. So which is what I mean it's growing up, it's maturing, it's coming out of that shell and facing a lot of emotions, hardships, love in a very different way. Though I keep getting abused and bashed about U know what's she doing? What CVs are doing? They don't know anything, but trust me U know… If U just keep showing one thing or the other it's not… it's not natural. U live each day in a different way, so U know… and from ur mistakes or from ur experiences U only grow to either repeat them or not repeat them. That's what we are showing U know… so we are eventuating in to a very different kind of aspect. We'll do this national dance championship in a slightly different manner that we did footloose. Challenges will be far bigger, the teams will be much better. At the same time they also have to keep up their professional careers. So U know lots and lots of happening in D3, lots to date.

Dolly Dii: Good, good to hear that and also just wanted to… I mean it's a bit old now but I think the holi episode didn't go down well with certain section of fans and…

Palki Mam: Oh! Yes, I'm aware of that, the holi episode. Ya, I think SwaRon fans were absolutely… I mean they were hurt. I don't know what they were hurt about. They were hurt about the TaaRey were promoted. I don't see U know… could people talk like that I can understand they could so they could… I just don't understand what they want… and what are they looking at. It's not… It's Dil Dosti Dance, it is not SwaRon. The shows name is not SwaRon, the shows name is not KriYansh, the shows name is not TaaRey. The shows name is Dil Dosti Dance. And every episode drives to focus on Dil Dosti and Dance. So agar usme aapko aapke SwaRon, TaaRey milte hai… KriYansh to aapko mil nahi sakte to I don't even talk about that… to usme aapko TaaRey, aur SwaRon milte hai, ViHa milta hai, Amar-Rinni milte hai, Nilesh-Simi milte hai, saare log milte hai to fantastic, great. But U know… just because someone else get something, it's not the way to live life yaar. I mean TaaRey ko kyun mila? SwaRon ko kyun nahi mila? Mereko vo logic hi nahi samajh me ata hai. First of all SwaRon, Sharon and Swayam are not a couple. So they could have not done… I don't know Dolly did U have seen this episode, the reason why they are upset, they were upset about the whole thing was because Rey and Taani got much more footage. Obviously they were the superstars of the episode and the reason why we did that was essentially because we thought that… we were actually trying to get some other… some other hosts all together. We were trying to get a Karan-Gene or U know we also approached Virat-Manvi but the thing is nobody was free so we thought k utni hi popular ek jodi hai, jo k Rey-Taani hai, to unhi ko unhi se host karvate hai, coz vo Jodi hai. They already are a Jodi. So we got in to the whole thing and the channel people were not happy with the songs selection of whatever was giving to Sharon and Swayam, but what I would like to say is that see the songs chosen in the past are all the songs that they have decided on. The songs were decided by us, by the creative team and similarly even this song was chosen by the creative team for whatever reason they had. Whether the songs they like, like Haye Rama or they like Chup chup k or they like yaadein… they all had a reason why they were there. Similarly we did not… we did not want any reason… to show SwaRon, passionate Shan in this particular episode. Like in Valentine we did coz they were portraying Rey and Taani so they did a chup chup k dance in that but the same time jab unho apna… apne aapko portray kiya they did that song… what was that… akhan de… whatever that song… I'm very sorry very bad at lyrics… It was very nok-jhok vala gana… Similarly we wanted to do something that… I wanted to get… I wanted Sharon and Swayam to get out of their comfort zone and do something which is not done before. So in which people thoughts very cheap… I don't understand yaar… I mean it's a popular song. Chalo mai ye nahi bol sakti k unko nahi pasand aya to nahi pasand aya chalo theek hai, fine point taken. But I don't understand the bashing and I don't understand the comparison. I don't understand that, but theek hai…

Dolly Dii: Their love I suppose

Palki Mam: fans hai… exactly unka pyaar hai and fans… I'll not want to do in that right away but it's just what happens here. Thoda sa zyada ho jata hai and I repeatedly say U want to bitch me out bitch me out, so don't bitch someone like a Rey or a Taani as in when I mean Rey or Taani I mean Kunwar and Vrinda in fact that becomes a little mean ya aur kuch nahi and which even Shantanu and Vrushika don't like. Because U know ultimately hum sab, jab ye log padhte hai to sabko baad me aake scenes saath me hi karne hote hai. So there is a little awkward space there… k arre U know… We should keep avoiding that… I make a joke out of but theek hai chalo… I'm sure these kids read it and they don't like it.

Dolly Dii: Ya. I think we will do something once with all of them together and show them the camaraderie that exists on the sets and… and I have a request, a personal request.. will U please show ur dancers dance to this latest Ranbir Kapoor song please.

Palki Mam: Aw! Which one? Jawani Deewani one?

Dolly Dii: Yes. Please.

Palki Mam: See U know guys as in U know Dolly I must tell U one thing… we have lot of constrains in choosing a song haan.

Dolly Dii: OK.

Palki Mam: It's not in our hand. We have a list, which is given to us and we have very peculiar right. It is a huge right issue here.

Dolly Dii: OK

Palki Mam: Every channel has a huge right, especially channel V because Channel V from a music company has become an entertainment channel.

Dolly Dii: Right.

Palki Mam: So the rights ka pura vo jo hai vo sab mil gaya hai. So koi bhi song pakad k nahi chad sakte hai. Dusri problem ye hoti hai k agar hum song lete bhi hai to we have a limit. So U can't do more than 1 and a half minute, U can't mix the song, U can't do that, U can't do that… So U know we are… we… we work in so many constrains.

Dolly Dii: OK

Palki Mam: And as far as that song U r talking about it's not with us.

Dolly Dii: OK

Palki Mam: And specially when the film is about to release, we cannot use the song unless we are promoting the film. We cannot use the song for… till after the launch.

Dolly Dii: Alright Ok. Ok.

Palki Mam: That's good probably.

Dolly Dii: Alright. Ok. So any other nice peppy song in ur national dance competition… may be U should have one song and have the different group to do it so that would be also something interesting I suppose.

Palki Mam: But in a normal dance competition that is not how it is.

Dolly Dii: So any way.

Palki Mam: Never the less I'll… I'll keep that in mind. I'll see if something can be done.

Dolly Dii: Alright, alright. Thank U so much. So that's the advantage of talking to U I suppose. I can have farmaish… aapki farmaish…(laughing) So any way, as always lovely talking to U and

Dolly Dii: And ok I don't know whether U got a new year for U, we had in the south of India and Maharashtra, I think we celebrated new year and then also it's a navratri period so I wish that all good things happen to U and ur team and ur entire cast n crew.
