I agree on the fact that even if the team would have known the dates, they would have still gone for the event. So, Tani was right there for sure. Apart from her insecurities, main problem is Taani's behavior about hiding Rey's identity. This is causing every problem for now... she wants Rey to be just perfect in front of Mr. Shekhawat, her tauji.

My point is... till now what I'd seen in d3 Taani does not have dad, and for her father figure in her life is swayam's dad. Reason is this had not been so, she wouldn't had said in RH that haath mangne wala with her tauji, it would had been her papa. So for a person who has not dad, and is loved by her tauji with same affection, same care(I really think tauji loves taani as her own child, for her he does all the little things parents do for their kids, talking lovingly, caring, affectionate, supporting them) obviously that person would mean a lot, because accord to me parents are one's first love.(I don't know how many of you agree or not, but in actual life parents are the only persons who love you unconditionally, always, no matter what.) So not having dad, for taani her tauji matters more than her actual dad could and that's why she's so adamant and obsessive about hiding Rey's identity till tauji understands this. And regarding someone like taani for whom relations and love had been always a major factor, she definitely can't bear to loose anyone...Rey or Tauji... none of them. Both are really important persons in her life.

Taani was nervous and calm in front of VP until Sharon did not question her about not letting them know the final dates. The situation spiraled and Taani blurted out .. IMO, it usually happens that way. You end up saying things you don't wish to. If Taani really had to put them in a spot, intentionally, she would have not waited for the gang to return and may have told VP earlier that she thinks the gang are out of college for an event. But she didn't do that.

Taani was wrong in hiding and lieing about Rey's absence... I agree. She may have her reasons, but its not right. As for her friends ... are they really her friends? They may have treated her as her friend ... but not in the true sense. Taani has always been 'Swayam's sister' and now 'Rey's girlfriend'. If they really considered Taani as their friend .. the situation would be different. Case in point - when during the first event they got, Neha and Sharon had differences of opinions and small arguements too, but they sorted it out (atleast the fight didn't go on n on) .. coz they are friends and part of the dance team. They want the same things. In Taani's case ... the gang and Taani also want the same things .. but coz they are not really friends, they are not able to understand what the other is saying. And this is applicable for Taani too. She may have got into the group coz of Swayam .. but since she has never really known any other or not made friends on her own .. she thinks she is their friend. If they were really friends... they would try to keep their differences aside and try to understand each other.

All said and done ... I do think the end of this track could be a beautiful start to their friendship. I certainly hope so. It would be really nice to see all of them bond like never before. Since the track focused a lot on Taani-Sharon's differences .. I do think they would make really good friends. Until ofcourse, they face new challenges.
