Ofcourse, the Taani vs Gang war seems to have reached its peak with Taani blurting out the truth and VP sir finding out that the gang were absent from college due to their event. Question is - Was Taani right or wrong in blurting out about the event?
During the entire discussion in front of VP sir, what surprised me most was, firstly how the gang were shocked knowing about the date for zonal eliminations, when rightly, Taani had informed them earlier that it could happen anytime mid-week. I didn't quite understand Sharon's statement - "mid-week 5 din baad bhi ho sakte hain". How does that matter? Bottomline is, 3 days or 5 days .. they should be prepared. But going by their reactions .. they looked like they were in a soup. Ofcourse, they are brilliant dancers and will cover up for the lost time and perform superb.. no doubts about that! But still.. that statement didn't make any sense .. atleast to me.
Secondly ... when Sharon pointed out to Taani that had Taani informed the gang about the dates in the morning, they would have stayed back in the rehearsal hall. Really? Would they have left the opportunity as a professional dance team? I highly doubt that.. Like the birthday party event, in most probability they would have gone ahead for the wedding and defend themselves that they can manage both - NDC and their career as a professional dance team.
In all this .. I think Taani was right in saying "Aap college ke liye apne event ko kabhi nahin chhodte".
The intention of this post is NOT to say one is at wrong and the other is right. In my opinion, if we're talking about sides here .. both sides are right and wrong in their own ways.
