Am back with my 2 cents of optimism..
I haven't watched the episode yet, so my thoughts may not be on track. Just going by what I have read of all your comments.
So finally they are celebrating Taani's birthday.. Great going. There has to be some reason here, right? I feel this party/situation could resolve a lot of mishaps/misunderstandings that have happened beween Taani n the gang lately.
Mr. Shekhawat (I'm guessing) will be around whilst the gang celebrate Taani's birthday. If he ain't there, it defeats the purpose of my thought process :p. Coming back to the point, if Swayam's dad is in the same vicinity as the gang, its natural he is gonna look down upon them for being dancers like his son is. He might even say something..and this is where I think Taani should stand up for Swayam, Rey and the gang. Taani can explain to him about the gang's passion for dance and how important it is for them to follow their passion and dream. Mr. Shekhawat may not agree with Taani's POV, but if she is close to him (as the article suggested), he will atleast listen.
This in turn, will make the gang realise how they have misunderstood Taani all along. Yes, she has been hyper n super-sensitive where NDC is concerned..but they might just understand that even though Taani is a non-dancer, she is passionate about dance as they all are.. NDC is not just another responsibility for her, she is passionate about her friends winning the championship, for their college, for each other and themselves.
When this whole friction started about them choosing their D3 professional team as opposed to NDC.. what I failed to understand is why the gang was not looking at NDC as their ticket to success in their professional career as D3. Right now, they are getting sangeets, birthdays n small corporate events. What better marketing than D3 team being NDC Winners? Taani needs to bring this point across to them..
The gang should feel bad for treating her the way they did..called her hyper, weird, laughed at her, and even believed that she needs to fight her own battles..not once thinking about her and how lonely she felt. Ofcourse, this does not mean that Taani was not wrong in her behaviour towards them. Bottomline is, they all were right n wrong in their own way.. Now its time to apologise and move on.
Ofcourse, before the apologies, I want Taani to give them a piece of her mind! In all this..like all Taani fans wished..her individuality will come across. She cannot be treated like a doormat nor be taken for granted..that she is equally passionate about things. Also, the gang may have always thought of her as Swayam's sister and Rey's girlfriend..but she considered them her friends.
In all this..most definitely the misunderstandings will resolve, the gang will appreciate Taani, each one of their relationships will evolve and become stronger..and the focus will return to NDC. This time..with all of them working as a team..including Taani as part of the gang.
As for Mr. Shekhawat, I hope he's just a catalyst to get things back on track for the team. I don't want him to be around.. Pls no father-in-law ko patana and all that! Its not a sasur-bahu-damaad show. I just want him to leave (he's a busy man after all..lol!). Jaate jaate, maybe Taani can challenge her tauji that the D3 team will win NDC. Phir toh team ke liye izzat ka sawaal ho jaayega! Lol!
This above is my wishlist.. I wish it happens, but even if it does not.. I believe its gonna be good. We can always hope for the best.
