If that is the case

I really want Rey to be nicer to her because if shes doing this for Rey and the way he is acting now I would just be more irritated because he wont deserve all she does for him

I guess they are dragging it so much because they know Rey and Taani have such strong feeling for each other and that they understand each other so well that it is impossible to create a misunderstanding so they are making baseless ones for them to fight about.So that they can stretch Taareys track out because they know once Taarey are together nothing will drive them apart.Anyway these are my thoughts

i absolutely agree with you!!! Hope you are right... as i would LOVE to see the scene where Rey gets to know the entire truth about Taani, which in turn will force him to declare his love cuz he will know that she loves him too!!!!
