fans and creativity

this weeks episode got me thinking again as to how much the scare of fans reactions affect creativity.

rey didnt remember kriya when swayam spoke of last rose day! it bugged me alot- while kriyaansh had never clicked for me as a couple- though i liked their dances a lot- it bugged me to think that rey didnt remmeber her that instant. she had slapped him on the day - and from what we know of rey- hes nt a guy to forget somethings like that- no, i dont mean that he shud think of her badly - i know he wont- but that his huge ego would not forget a slap from anyone and it would make him remember everything for a moment atleast ...again he can shake himself up after a second but he shud have remembered her.

not to blame u guys CVs - ive often felt in this serial and others that when a lead is replaced/ leaves its written off in the hope that the fans will forget it soon. but it doesnt work that way maybe its also bcoz of bad relations between the actors and the creative team which we the viewers will never know. but cutting off some character only leaves a vaccum even for non fans like me .

like in HHL, the lead was remembered for long after he left- i know that rey and sia are diff characters and thats why its like that. (sia is more like swayam acc to me) rey change that was shown was good, no doubt but at times in certain circumstances in life rey would remember kriya and rose day would be one of those undoubtedly!

CVs- dont do this u know...the fandom will again rise up and all yes- but to have a semblance of reality, it wudve been good for rey to remember kriya for a second atleast- i bet the CVs would think that Tarey fans who have been happy till now would get irritated or something but ...scare of TRPs and fandoms shudnt affect so much that u give up on creativity in the name of respecting feelings.

any story with substance will sell on TV- creativity will win. and it shud.
