TOI: Moulin Rouge in D3

The world-acclaimed, dance and entertainment troupe, The Moulin Rouge from Paris shot for a special appearance in an episode of Channel V's most popular youth show D3, Dil Dosti Dance.

The first-of-its kind integration,has the troupe performing the French Can Can dance in the show.
The dancers were ready to roll in a swish of brightly coloured, ruffled skirts, feathered headgear and tinkling of rhinestone jewellery.
'We are really pleased with the outcome of this integration. Moulin Rouge has been spectacular in the episode and they've really complimented D3 to the hilt and added so much quality to the sequence. We hope that they enjoyed being on our show and performing with our stars' said Prem Kamath, Channel V -Executive Vice President & General Manager.

Apart from this the 17 dancers — 14 women and three men acrobats, who were hand-picked for the tour by their ballet mistress —danced to the popular Bollywood item song Chikni Chameliwhich was choreographed by the cast of D3 Kuwar Amar Singh (Rey) and Shantanu Maheshwari (Swayam)

After the shoot was over, the Moulin Rouge troupe danced their way through with the cast on the sets of D3, 'Dil Dosti Dance'.

The Episode will be aired in the second or third week of November.
