SWARON OS: The Challenge'
I stood on the college terrace waiting for her. She was taking the time till infinity to arrive. She had promised she would come at 6:30. I knew she would have been caught up with something but I couldn't help but miss her. And she had been very intelligent not to tell anyone about our relationship making it even more a hell. I went and sat down by the water tank waiting'.
Two hand encircled me and a soft cheek was placed beside mine. "Sowwieee" I heard her voice in my ear. She said it in the sweetest voice possible. A smile crept up my face, but faking anger I removed her hands and said, "Sorry for what? You know I have been waiting for almost an hour?" "Swayam I'm really sorry. I missed you the whole day. I completed all my work so that now I can spend time with you and now you are not talking to me?" she asked me pouting. "you think I enjoyed? You didn't even speak to me today." I said still faking anger. "I'm really sorry Swayam" she said earnestly looking deep into my eyes. It became difficult for me to keep my face emotionless. I felt a smile creep up my lips. Even before I smiled or said anything Sharon threw her arms around me and said, "I knew you would forgive me." I held her close, feeling her. It was difficult to pretend to fight and act nothing was going on between us in front of everyone. It had been a long day and I had truly missed her.
"But you need to make up for not talking to me and coming late." I said. "And how is that?" she asked me, ready to do anything now. "Simple D3!" I replied. "D3?" she asked clearly confused. "Dinner, Dance and declaration!" I explained. Her eyes widened. Swallowing nothing she managed to ask, "I understood the first two but the third?" "Declare to the gang that we are a couple." I elaborated further. "What if I don't?" she asked me. "I stop talking to you." "And if I do?" "You get a surprise." I whispered in her ear.
"Okay then." She stated blankly, back to her Diva mode. "But ya, I'm going to change the order." She added. "As you please." I replied.
She took out her phone before she sent an SMS to everyone, including me. It read:
At my hose at 8:30. Have something very important to tell.

"I've got a few things to do." She said as she turned to go. I pulled her back, holding her wrist. She came and banged on my chest. I bent down and whispered in her ear. "You just have to say a 'yes' to the dinner part, rest is up to me." She looked up. Standing on her toes and gazing into my eyes she said, "Yes it is." She gave me a quick peck on my lips and before I could react she ran of.
I had enough time to go home and arrange for the Dinner so I went ran to my car and drove off.
At 8:30 when I entered Sharon's house. I was surprised to see everyone already there. As soon as I stepped in the room was enveloped in complete darkness. Everybody began to murmur because of the same and suddenly I felt her hands in mine. She led me to somewhere like in front of everyone yet close to the wall. "So what I wanted to say was.." she paused. "I LOVE YOU" she said as she switched the lights back on. There was complete around. Everyone was too stunned to respond. Then suddenly the whole hose was filled with whistles and hooting. Blushing Sharon his her face in my chest. And I held her tight. After some more Oohs and Aahs Sharon looked up "Can you people stop that?" she asked. Everyone fell silent and then rushed to congratulate us. "This calls for a party!" Vicky exclaimed. "Ya lets go to Sparkz now!" Rey added. "No guys actually we have got some plans." Sharon told them. ""WE? Ohh plans'Lets leave these lovebirds alone guys." He said as he led everyone out. "have fun!!!" he said as he closed the door behind him.
As soon as the door closed I extended my hand. "Dance?" I asked. No she nodded. And within seconds disappeared into her room and slammed the door shut. when she came back two minutes later wearing Blue dress I was still standing there.

"Now we can." She said smiling. I smiled back. Moving back, she dimmed the lights and turned the music on and we danced together. Staring into each others eyes happy with each other's presence. When we ended we were in each other's arms. Happy as we can be.
"Dinner is still left and for that you need to come with me." I whispered in her ear after some time. She nodded a yes. So we set out for my home.
"its beautiful." She exclaimed as she stepped in. There on the table lay her her favourite food. Nothing very fancy but just perfect. "I love you Swayam" she said again. "I love you too Sharon" I told her as we sat down.
We sat their, feeding each other and having the best food, in the best place, in each others arms.
