SwaRon - The Nanosecond Fairytale (16th Jan, 2012)

I don't know if anyone noticed this ' but amid all the Tom-foolery and chaos outside ' Sharon was the ONLY one jisse bina dhoonde hi Swayam mil gaya ' Sharon ko usse dhoondna hi nahin parha ' its like ' All she did was subconsciously wish for him ' and there he was ! She stumbled and was about to fall when Swayam, just in time, got there to hold her by her hand and keep her from falling face first, just like always.

Everytime Sharon faltered .. metaphorically ho ya literally .. Swayam tab tab wahan thaa , to break her fall ' to hold her hand as she stood up tall again. He was never her knight in shining armour .. he WAS the armour, always protecting her , fending her and shielding her' be it from the world .. or from Sharon herself.

Its like that one moment encompassed the entire SwaRon Saga, encapsulating it all in one nano-second fairytale .. and Had a 3rd person been present there ' toh uss eik lamhein mein mein usse SwaRon ki poori daastan dikh jaati .. afsos sirf iss baat ki hai ke jinhe dekh na chaiye ' sirf unhe hi kuch nahin dikha ..

Eik Swayam .. jisse ab yeh sab aur dekha nahin jaata ' he can't bear to see the harsh truth facing him , in the form of Sharon's cellfone screen with Shivam's name flashing on it.. anymore .. which is why decides to take the cowards way out, because being brave so far has only caused him pain .. pain, which he can no longer take ..

Lekin woh chaaah kar bhi Sharon se door jaa nahin payega .. its too late for that now .. Cuz no matter WHERE he is , there is one thing in the world which he cant escape .. and that is the way he feels for Sharon , the need to be there for her , to break her fall ... Sharon uss ke harr lamhein mein hai , har disha mein hai .. toh woh Sharon ko chod ke jayega bhi toh KAHAAAN jayega ?!

Aur eik Sharon hai ' jo sachaayi ko dekhna hi nahin chahti ..

What she SHOULD see is that the one person who was there , right by her side, all along .. Wether or not she asked for him to be .. is walking away from her now, perhaps for good. What she SHOULD see is that how MUCH she wants to stop him, and kahin na kahin I think that's what she wants to see too ' but shez created this force-field to keep others out and now its keeping HER in .. ' and the ONE person who could make it thru that wall, she had broken his spirit SOOO badly .. that hez given up on trying .

This has GOT to be Universe-ji's most sadistic joke. Sharon's perfect little haven, her sanctuary, staying where she had well-insured herself against all possible intrusions into her being .. wohi fortress aaj usse hi qayd kar gaya .. her safe lil world, her fortification became her prison .. True . it was her stronghold .. jisse aaj tak koi bhed toh nahin kar paaya .. but ab wahaan se koi bahaar bhi nahin jaa sakta ..

And then the call ' did anyone catch the gargantuan symbolism there ?

The way he handed her her cellfone , which was , so conveniently ringing with Shivam's Godforsaken name flashing on the screen, piercing the ONE moment of tranquility between SwaRon, the kind they so scarcely shared, after a tempestuous week ' it was as if by giving her the cellfone, he was handing her her life back .. Swayam's presence in her life had shaken its ultimate equilitbrium - her control over herself, her actions and the way things worked around her .. and now that he was walking away from her life, she was, once again the master or her own ship, free to steer it whichever way she felt like and he was no longer going to interfere, actively or passively in whatever she intended to do with it. If she chose to take that call over trying to stop him from leaving, in essence choosing Shivam over Swayam, so be it.

If all this metaphorical talk is confusing u .. lets get literal . For example take Sharon's heels ? Shez been wearing them for SOOO long .. ke even with an injured foot , she couldn't help but put them on .. its part of who she is .. Sharon the Diva ' had she not been wearing them , mebbe .. just maybe she could have gone after Swayam ? Knowing her she probably wouldn't. .. but just making a point here ... its these little things Sharon does ' come together to create this colossal wall that ensures ke Sharon manages to keep people , and in particular , Swayam out.

And then That one ridiculous snippet of Sharon's overactive imagination, with a foxy Nicole trying, going all out to get her cougar-paws on Swayam and him eventually giving into it ' was actually .. a manifestation of her greatest fear .. Losing Swayam ..

And just so the post stays true to the title .. the MOST beautiful shot from the ENTIRE episode ..

This is how its meant to be .. this is how it SHOULD be .

If only Sharon could let her guard down this once .. If only Swayam hadnt given up on them just yet... if only ...

Starting with Swayam finding her,even without her having to search for him-his love for her isn't merely love in its physical manifestations,or something like that.Its somewhat transcendental-its as if she lives within him,and he knows when she needs him,he knows when she flounders,he knows when she falls into trouble,even the pettiest moments when she slightly trips-he knows,and he's always there,protecting her from whatever she is frightened of,being the shield,the armour of steel.

And Sharon has allowed a part of Swayam to live within her too…which is why she keeps wishing for him to be there when she needs help,because she knows,that out of everyone in the whole world,Swayam Shekhawat would remain true to her.

Swayam has tried to solve issues the hard way.His heart was lacerated,shattered to pieces.He has tried putting on the faade of hostility,tried being impassive,tried being mean to her,tried showing her that he doesn't care…and even burnt the letter he has written to her with so much love.But not even a wee bit of his external forcefulness could stop him from loving her,caring her her,tending to her.Which is why,it stings him even more to see Sharon,his Sharon,with another guy.Thus,all bravado forsaken,he tries to take the easier,and what he thinks,the most effective way out-leaving college,leaving her.But what he doesn't understand is…Sharon lives within him.He might physically move away from her,but he will always carry her with him,in his heart.He is her,and she is him-they are one,in their happiness and grief alike.

Sharon is a person who's built up a shield around herself,not to push others away,but to see who has the courage to break through,and reach her.The only person who has ever been able to do that,is Swayam.Yet,her self-created shield prevents her from saying anything,from asking him not to leave,from telling him that he someone she can never afford to lose.Whats sad is that it is her own shield that stops her,and not an external force.

Swayam is well aware that with his walking into Sharon's life,showering his unseldish love on her,seeing through her faade,breaking thrugh the shield,with his knwing all Sharon's weaknesses,with him knowing Sharon as simply Sharon ,and not the Diva image-he's caused a tempestuous stir in the calmness of her life.thus,by giving her the cellphone with Shivam's name flashing on it,he effectively 'freed' her,restored the calm in her life,placed her,once again,at the helm,and plaintively,walked out.

Sharon's imagination about Nicole taking Swayam away,was a mere manifestation of a deep-rooted fear..that she was finally going to lose the only person who had loved her,for what she was.

And DAMN,the screenshot,of both their hands together-it totally reflects what I wrote before-that they are one ,and will always be.

First of all awesum post Rafi Dii...👏 kya likha hai... just speech less... kya comment karu samaj hi nai aa raha hai... but i had to share my own views on this...

Finally got the chance to see it. Now before I get back to writing super boring and unnecessary AP physics lab report, l'll try to add in my input about today's episode even though you've already said it all with good pics.

I agree with you on that armor bit and how Sharon's trapped herself within the walls she's built around herself which used to be her fortress once upon a time. But man she's fumbling! and she's fumbling so bad now. Earlier it seemed that she was just confused but now she's getting delirious for real. Uhh-huh.

on some fairly odd note, they were playing beyonce's "halo" on the radio right now and here are some of it's lyrics--"Remember those walls I built/but they're tumbling now/ and they didn't even put up a fight/they didn't even make up a sound/ I found a way to let you in/but i never really had a doubt/standing in the light of your halo/i got my angel now...you know you're my saving grace"

ignoring the otherwise cheesy-ness of the song...when applying it to current state of sharon's mind, they seem to jive in well, don't they? or may be i'm becoming delirious with all these physics lab reports.🤓 😆

Great point about the armour that Sharon builds around herself...and the point about the heels...the image must be maintained at all costs...the makeup, the clothes, no matter how much discomfort there may be...the only time I've seen her have a meltdown is that breakdown a few epis back...goes to show how shattered she was but she's managed to bring the mask back on since.

LOL@ the foxy Nicole montage...haha amusement aside, you're right that was basically a manifestation of Sharon's greatest fear...which is why she instantly dismissed it as seeing that would never work on Swayam😆

First of all,i jus love d way u've written tis Rafi di...u described everythin so beautifully...i actually had tears in my eyes when i was readin them...i'll start frm d beginning...Swayam definitely is Sharon's armour...in every sense...if he wasnt there...i'm sure there wuld hav been countless amount of times where d Weaklings wuld hav insulted her wit their replies n showed her tat they're as gud as d Dazzlers...but every single time Swayam was there to make sure tat d matter doesnt get worse...even when he himself culdnt believe tat Sharon culd stoop so low...durin d GS election...d way he came up to her n said CANT LET TIS HAPPEN TO YOU!!!...it showed u hw much he loved her...he accepted her every flaw...he was there to fix her mistakes...All those times when he came to her rescue...more than seeing d protective Swayam...i love seeing d way Sharon turns frm tis strong arrogant gal to tis simple gal hu jus hides behind her MAJNU...tat innocent luk in her eyes everytime Swayam came n stood between her n d danger tat she faced...its so beautiful...Nw,comin to Swayam...i guess its true when they say tat every1 has a breakin point...seeing Sharon wit Shivam was Swayam's breakin point...Eventhough he closed d book n showed Sharon attitude...n kept sayin to every1 tat Sharon n Swayam wil neva happen...sumwhere in him...he still hoped...n prayed tat one day Sharon wuld undastand him...wuld undastand his love...n wuld find tat more important than maintaining her reputation n social status...but all those hopes were shattered d moment he saw Sharon wit Shivam...d guy hu was d so call perfect guy for Sharon cus he's charmin, popular n rich...a male version of everything tat Sharon represented in her college...d type of guy tat every1 expected Sharon to end up wit...n rather than enduring d pain of seeing Sharon wit sum1 else...Swayam chooses to endure d pain of not seeing Sharon at all...Sharon on d otha hand...There seems to b a constant fite within her everytime Swayam's around...One moment u c d Diva Sharon n d next she's jus Swayam's Sharon...d simple gal tat v saw durin RDX's party...V culd c tat she wanted to say sumthin to him...to stop him...but its so hard for her to break d wall she has created...n its even harder nw cus Swayam has built a wall too...d way he jus ignored her...took his books n left...all those time when Sharon broke dwn...she was able to do it mostly cus Swayam helped her to...but nw,even he jus wants to go away...so,i guess Sharon doesnt c d point in tryin to stop him...Its like they both wanna do sumthin but jus cant cus Swayam doesnt feel like he has d right to do nythin nw...like she's no longer his SIREN SHARON...n Sharon,she has always chosen to ignore her feelings for him...to ignore d fact tat she culd stop him if she wants too...cus tat comes wit a price...she wuld hav to throw away Sharon D Diva n jus b Sharon...sumthin tat she still doesnt wanna give up!!!...I wished Sharon wuld loose d fear of loosin everythin if she's show her trueself...wished she undastood tat her frens wuld still luv her no matter wat...tat all they want is for her to b happy...n if her happiness is wit Swayam...then they dnt hav a prob wit it!!!...n Swayam,i really cant blame him...hw long can a guy wait???...especially when he thinks she already has sum1 else...but i wished he tried jus one more time...If oni Sharon realised tat she's more to her frens tat jus Sharon d Diva...if oni Swayam realised tat he does hav a place in Sharon's heart...tat it wil jus take more time...IF ONI...🥺
