I do like the episode and because it's the first episode let's just say I am trying to be reserved with my analysis, the dysfunctional family factors are both in lives of ML and FL and both have their reasons for what they have become in their present lives, so I am not going in the details of what was in the episode but how it was portrayed, Ginni despite of all difficulties is ever ready to face the challenges not because she has no other option like in case of her brother but she has learned to live with them and Adi runs away from the biggest one" Family" and that's what his father taunted him about" Ek chef competition toh jeet nahi saka" don't know why but I find it a bit absurd, Adi is a tough guy and strong but does that mean he's been running away from all competitions like this because he was assigned to make a family dish???? Also before quitting the competition he broke the table and forgot totally that he's in middle of a competition , I think breaking table wasn't necessary and he could have just quit, anyway overall it was a good first episode.
Love and faith inspires all of Ginni's actions, although her father is no longer with her she remember every good thing that he had taught her, something Adi doesn't have and not even a kind word or memory so that comparison is heartbreaking but the accident scene did leave me speechless, he could have almost seen her face but anger got the best of him and he drove away without thinking someone might have been hurt and that is the seed of hatred which was long planted in his heart when he burned his step mother's hand and refused to acknowledge her as his mother. This part of episode is very well executed when the makers are trying to show two different peoples in different situations and challenges and how in future these little cracks and emptiness will compel them to walk on the same path.
That's what I think and not to mention the fact that both NF and KW have done extremely well with their roles and the way they say their dialogues and emote pain, anger, love and helplessness even it was a very good performance.
