CHAPTER 1.
The sun has just risen in the pink city of Jaipur...
In ' Badi Haveli',
Mihika is the first one to wake up. And the second one is surprisingly Ashish! Today is his dead wife's birthday...
Ashish wakes up... and goes near Mayuri photo with flowers.
Ashish - Mayuri, janm din ki dhero shubhkamnaen.
A tear slides down his cheek but he rubs it off...
( Mihika comes in with an aarti thali )
Mihika - Bhaiyya, prasad leejiye, maine aaj mayuri jiji ke janm din ke liye pooja karvayi thi.
Ashish - Ye tumne bahut accha kiya, Mihika. Main abhi mandir jaa hi raha hoon.
He goes out of the room. Meera comes in.
Meera - Beta mandir jaa raha hai na, aate samay samose aur jalebiyan lete hue aana.
Ashish - Kyon maa? Aaj mayuri ka janm din hai iss liye ? Aapko pata hai na maa ki jabse mayuri hum sab ko chhod kar gayi hai, main kucch meetha nahi khaata!
Meera - Ye tere liye nahi mangva rahi hoon beta, tu jo main kah rahi hoon vo theek se kar.
Ashish - Theek hai, ab main chalta hoon. Shashank aur Shobha uthe nahi kya? Khair main chalta hoon.
Ashish sets off to the temple
On the other side in Shekhavat Rajbhavan ( Dhara's house, sounds more like a palace ri8?😆 ),
A sweet, 19 yr old girl and Dhara's Best frnd named Sarika enters Dhara's room.
Sarika - Dhara! tumhe aaj mandir nahi jaana hai kya? har somvar to tum mandir jaati ho, to aaj taiyaar hone mein itna time kyun laga rahi ho?
Dhara - Aaj hum mandir se aate vakt shopping karte hue aayenge.
Sarika - Sachh?? tumne to meri mooh ki baat cheen li! Eternity Mall hote hue aayenge.
Dhara - Theek hai, tu gaadi ke saath wait kar main aa rahi hoon.

Ashish enters the temple and walks upto the devi idol and applies kumkum at her feet.
Ashish - Devi Maa, meri Mayuri ki aatma ko shaanti mile. ( becomes emotional and doesnt notice that his finger ring had fallen down while applying kumkum )
He walks out and just then Dhara enters...
She walks to the idol and bows down to the idol when the kumkum applied by Ashish is accidentally smeared to her forehead. It is not quite visible.
Dhara - Bhagwanji, hamara parivaar hamesha sukhi rahe.
Sarika ( in her mind ) - Meri shaadi jaldi ho jaye !!!
and giggles n blushes..
Panditji gives Dhara a plateful of flowers to distribute it to the others. ( as she is a regular visitor )

Ashish is just about to sit in his car when he realizes that he has lost his ring. He walks back to the temple to check.
Dhara starts walking out to distribute the flowers. AND THEN...
Ashish and DHara collide and the plate flies into the air showering the flower petals on both of them.
Both of them are annoyed... though staring at each other.
Ashish - Aap dekh kar nahi chal sakti? mere kapde kharab kar diye!!!...
Dhara - Oh plz ye baat mujhe aapse kehni chahiye. mere haat mein samaan tha, aap dekh kar nahi chal sakte? Chodiye bhi...
And she goes away. Ashish finds his ring and he too departs...
