Lesson - Play with Picasa

Wanna learn making this with picasa?

U need these pics

We will be using here

Photoscape (for adding pics in boxes) and

Picasa (for merging & making the creation)

We have seen use of 'Retouch' tab in one of our tutorials, we'll be making use of same and create magic!!! 😛 M damn sure u gonna have fun with this!!! 😳

Get Set Gooo

Step 1 - Open your photoscape, choose ur box and add images in that.

Like this

Your photoscape work is over for the moment!

Step 3 - Open your picasa software. and select ur creation from the list.

Now choose that 'retouch' button and drag it to the maximum.

Just hit the 'apply' button (shown in the image above), and save ur image.

Step 9 - This is ur saved image.

Step 10 - Simply crop the image and remove the bottom part. You get this -

Step 11 - Go to ur Photoscape and edit the pic for brightness, color, etc, as u want.

Add text using photoscape or online available sites.

Finally u get this.

Feel free to use..

Doneee!!!! 😛

P.S. The main focus should be on selection of pictures in photoscape coz the ultimate effect u get on picasa depends on ur chosen image only.. 😳

Examples using the same method

Not necessary that u have to keep Black background only!!

like in this creation, i have dragged one normal image (whereas earlier we had kept it blank)

So it looks like this

One image on which i wanna make creation is dragged in big box,

and images which i wanna use in making creations are in small boxes.

Output of picasa is this

Simply saved it and made some changes using photoscape and what i got is this

Not only normal creations, u can even make banners once u get used to it!!

See the following banner i made using this method, it even earned me 1st runner up position in that banner contest!!! 😛 😆 No one can actually make out that it's made wid picasa n not photoshop!!!! 😆

For viewing it clearly, if you are using chrome then right click n hit 'open image in a new tab'

my very first, but a stupid creation. But still, thought of giving it a try... I have an account in picasa, but I am not able to log in with it. So... just made this somehow with that 'paint'
