acc to history what i have read in many articles his actual wife was Dhurdhara and thier son was Bindusara.

but i also read that Selucus also got his daughter (i think it is helen: i may be wrong with her name) married to Chandragupta after he lost in the battle and also all the provinces he won to chandragupta as a dowry.

in turn Selucus was gifted with 500 elephants by CG and made a friendly agreement to this. didn't read the article fully in archive but while i was going through this is what i found in most.

must confirm this again for sure.

Yeah I too read the same and I have also come to know abt a thing that chandragupta gave his oldest 500 elephants who died soon...it was a treacherous plan suggested by Chanakya..

BTW I have come across a book which narrates the love story of chandragupta and cornelia or helen(whatever u call her)...well I don't know what sagar arts will show on the show...I expect something sensible not like the fictious plot of MRIGNAYINI...

yes Jayathi! Mrignayini's character is a ficious one. don't know why they introduced such character. even i didn't hear abt the war btw the army of both Alex n CG. there are many bloopers in the serial but i appriciate the CV's as they are covering all the imp events and characters.

yes he died of malaria in Babylon. but there r other rumours abt death that it is due to poisoining of enemies. but the formeer is the most supported one.

no its not true that he has only one wife bcoz in those days kings had many wives. though main wife might b dhurdhara but oders were also there though we don't know abt their names. and helen was indeed married 2 the CGM but only 4-5 yrs. b4 his death at the age of 42 yrs.!!😊😊and bindusara was his eldest son!! but yes mrignayani is a fictious ckt!

I want 2 go wid Dhurdhara nd Hallen oth bec both wre CGM wives even more but have the information about these 2 so atleast show them. i dont know why in the historical shows makers concentrate so much in luv. i mean they were KINGS their lifes were far different than common man. they had so much responsibilities thats why they had to do sum decision politically , some for peace... if a king had more than 1 wife why makers r always afraid to show it... As in PRC they focus so much on LUV. i mean GHORI was planning to destroy PRC and he was busy in sanyogita... this was not happened in that way even PRC did married for polticaly and alliances reasons wid diff Rajya...sum tim kings married from royal families of the territory which they won for the reason they want to gain the trust of people of that territory ... but they didnt sow why they are afraid of showng the original lifes of these Kings, I mean cum on these great kings had very less time for their own live entertainments...datng, etc...
I am from Pakistan... PTV (Pakitan television) did made a show on Mughal Emperor Baber and they showed all his 4-5 wives, the reasons an circumtances of those marriages, their children... plz dont teell that they were muslims that why they did and soon...every grat king did all these political decisions...so please show us thir lives not sum dragng fictional luv stories for da sake TRPs

first of all welcome to the forum friend...good to have u here...but i m not going to vote in this poll...i have a strong reason for that...i have stopped watching this show...and i'll never watch it again...the way they distorted history...i cant digest it anymore...cant afford to watch Alexander the great in India for 6 years...alex in india for this long is a question mark on our existence as an Indian...if alex wud have stayed in India for 6 years...then i must have been writing this post in greek language😆 ..so coz i dont watch it anymore ...who so ever comes and goes..it doesnt matters to me...now i dont even have any probs wid mrignayani..they can show her as bindusar's mother too...thumbs up from my side...or they can add thousand fake/true stories and have their creative liberty to any extent🤢

i totally agree with u dear...makers don't need to get worried if audience is ready to watch true history...i watched a show on DD years ago...it was based on nawab siraj-ud- daula...and the makers executed the history very well there..they showed his first wife and second wife...they showed him as the way he was..a careless youth at initial stage...then he slowly realized his love for the country...how he become a patriot etc etc...i mean they never tried to show him as a superhero like cgm and chanakya are being shown..they sticked to reality...imagine has portrayed that somehow directly or indirectly chanakya was the reason of alex's death...i find it next to impossible...may be i m wrong coz i dont know whats going on in the show...but still by wu i came to know abt this... even historical characters were human beings...they have their own strength and weaknesses ...acc. to me alex and cgm never shared envy on personal grounds...but here they are showing alexander next to dhananand ..just because the show is based on cgm and he is the hero of the show...they have to show him bigger and better than anything...that too at the wrong time...coz acc to real history..when alex was in India...cgm was a teenager...he never had such a big army at that time...its after alex went back..cgm and chanakya made an army of well trained tribal people...and they also took porus's help to fight against dhannu...that's a different story anyway😉

Note: I mean no offense to any historical characters that i've mentioned...just shared my views coz i think exaggeration of anything more than required can be injurious😊
