Workaholics on television
The rigorous working schedules in the television industry takes a toll on actors' health, many of whom have either fainted or are forced to work despite being unwell. In the last week, we saw Rakhi Sawant fainting on the sets, Gurmeet Chaudhary ill with fever, Drasthi Dhami had cold and cough while Kavita Kaushik had to be hospitalised for exhaustion. We spoke to some celebs about the rigorous shooting schedules and how it affects their health.

I was extremely unwell while shooting the first song sequence for Rang Badalti Odhani. I was running a temperature of 103. I could not even stand, let alone dance, but we had a deadline to meet, so I had no choice but to continue shooting. In between the shoot, I took tablets and pain killers. People think that acting is an easy job as you just have to stand in front of the camera. In such situation, one realizes how tough it is.
