The Final Chapter: Paradise...Lost

London, 2011 March.

All students of Royal State University of Medical Sciences and waiting in the big conference hall. A big banner infront of the gate written, "Welcome to the success meet of Paradise Lost".

The hall is full of students and faculties. Some press people also having their seats. Suddenly a man appears on the stage and everybody looks on as a pin-drop silence covered the whole atmosphere.

"Good Evening students, faculty members and other people who has come for this wonderful moment. I am Dr. Frank Gilbert, the Director of this college. It gives me immense pleasure to introduce Dr. Suhel Seth, my classmate at the PG and a great friend. He is the now Director and Dean of the Indian Mental Research Institute and the former Head of ICPMF, a mental facility at Himachal Pradesh, India. Welcome Doctor, please give a big round of applauds."

Dr. Suhel Seth enters the stage as the whole audiences started showering applauds at him.

Frank: "Thank you Suhel for coming. Now let me re-introduce the man of the moment. The man who has penned this wonderful novel "Paradise Lost". Please welcome Dr. Dhanraj Chopra, the Cambridge graduate who also was associated with ICPMF and now is doing his research work in our college."

Dr. Dhanraj Chopra enters the stage with huge claps and he sits beside Dr Seth.

S (whispered to Dhanraj): "How are you?"

D:"Better sir."

S:"Bharti still wants you back."

D (after a pause): "I still love her. But she closed the door."

S:"Its now 2 years since that incident. Why don't you forgive her?"

D:"Actually sir, I never forgave myself."

S:"She read your book. She said that you shouldn't have discussed your relationship with her."

D:"It's a work of fiction, sir."

S:"And the death? Is that fiction too?"

D:"That became reality..."

Frank: "I'd request Dr. Suhel Seth to say few words."
