Hey guys... I notice that many of you are against Ashish Sharma playing Chandra Gupta Maurya.. What I gather from the posts is that many of you really like the child artist doing the role. As a person who has not watched too many episodes of the show I cannot make a comment on the actor ,but am sure he is good ,going by the amount of fans he has garnered in such a short while...😊.But the fact is the child has to grow up & the role needs an actor of calibre to pull it off..A lot of you also say that you cannot imagine Bhaiyyaji playing CGM. Now it'snt it truly his success as an actor that people cannot even imagine him as anything else but bhaiyajji.. Ashish I'm sure in real life is nothing like Bhaiyaji,who was a rural ruffian with a golden heart..He fit into the role so beautifully that he carried the viewer scene after scene with him on the journey of a man called bhaiyajji...It was a commendable performance by an actor who is on the threshold of his acting career😊
As a person who has great regard for Ashish as an actor & who has watched his performance in GKD I would request you guys to give Ashish a fair chance & not run him down even before he makes an entry. I am sure Ashish would do the role you guys love so much in a commendable,convincing & commanding manner & win over your hearts with his brilliant potrayal of CGM.. He truly deserves a fair chance...Judge him like you would judge anyone else & he would win you over.. The only request I make is don't hold anything against him & judge him on merits without preconcieved notions & images of him...
