But whom does chandra love? Nandiniii??(or even his family love her like moora, dadi, brother etc) But why? What did she do for him till date? She wanted to kill him in battle field, put poison in mehendi, cursed and abused him, wanted to hit knife when sleeping etc I do not understand till now why chandra love nandini?? Other than fact that she is his wife and beautiful to look at etc she has not done anything much for him reall y compared to dhurudhara and helena. But chandra considers dhurudhara friend and helena as liability and avoids both(even in death bed he ran off with nandii leaving dhurudhara alone).

Taking care of bindusar etc to be honest in those times maids took care of princes rather than queens(even if mother was alive), anyways at age of 5 all princes went to gukul and returned only at age 15-18 then away from mom-dad. As per history bindusar was taken care of by his dai ma whom he considered as mother and listened to her words(not any step moms). and teaching weapons training chankya and chandra are more competent to teach bindusar than nandini. So there is no real strong reason for this mad love of chandra to nandini. Or nandini loving chandra her fathers killer too. Now which daughter shall truly love her fathers killer practically? None okkk to survive in chandras palace superficially they may act as if they love buttt in reality no girl shall love her fathers killer no matter how bad daddy dearest was to others. This love is not convincing.

Second issue is chandra ating like mad in love, he is emperor not majnu or romeo. He ignore his kids care and other wives or responsibility in nandini love. Which emperor or commoner do that? Even shah jahan who loved mumtaz(from childhood) came out of mourning in a year or two time. You cannot act like devdas and majnu when you have small kids to take care a kingdom to look after etc. Somewhere bindusar anger is correct, chandra never loved his mom or his children even alice his daughter, a father never ignore a daughter even if he do not care for sons. Only bindu is brave to tell that on chandras face.

All of what you said is so true. The CVs did poorly in sculpting Chandra's character for the sake of "love". More than Nandini it was Durdhara that was my favourite when I watched the older episodes. Nandini had physical strength but something was missing than. With Dharma's presence and seeing her as her mother I have come to like her more, but even than I get scared that she will forsake her daughter's love for the sake of Chandra and Bindusar 😭

I just hope the Cvs handle Dharma-Bindusar's story with better care. Dharma has been shown to not have any interest in Bindusar, and even went as for as warning charumati of him because of his poor manner towards women. She is still under the pretense that Bindusar was the one who kidnapped and tried to misbehave with her friend. Bindusar too has been shown to be someone who doesn't get swayed by external appearance and needs something more of a substantial reason for us to believe that he is in love with Dharma. I personally do not want ekta's cheap scenes like they did with Chandra and nandini and even tried with Bindusar and Dharma where the woman fall over the man and they are lost in their eyes. Scenes like that just don't make sense and I don't believe they contribute to the content in anyway. The writers need to set a better foundation for Dharma and Bindusar, and hopefully not make Charumati a Helena 2.0, which would be horrible especially since they've made her out to be a really good friend to Bindusar.

What I really hate the most is that the producers make historical shows for love stories. If it's about telling kings and queens love stories then why not create their own kings and queens instead of ruining the real kings and queens image. I totally agree with you ? Nandini didn't kill Durdhara but still Bindu has many reasons to hate her. The way the shows kings treat their queens no wonder they turn out evils later. I mean which woman can see her husband treating another queen as queen and her as good for nothing ?

He would've kicked Helena if she was like this for REAL but he loved her. Umm, this is an Ekta Kapoor show and she loves toxic relationships. She loves butchering history calling it her own take. 🤢

I feel really bad for the real Helena and Chandragupt who for the least had a brain. This Chandra is not ideal, not even for romance. I appreciate Rajat for putting up with such a pathetic character with no wisdom and self respect.

Coming to Dharma 2.0 😆 I wonder how the f**k can she be an exact replica of Nandini's thoughts!? If it was that way why wasn't Nandini her mother's replica who had infedility issues LOL!?

The writer are officially brain dead I guess😕 Specially the bride exchange and stuff. Still keeping up with this show for the cast and my mom ofcourse😆

Further now Bindu considers helena as mother but chandra never has good relation with her too, all this impacts a small childs mind a lot especially in teenage years(13-21 years)

His anger to nandini not only is because he believes she killed his mom but also because he thinks because of her his dad never treated his mom nicely even on death bed and also he is not caring for him and his siblings alice and adonis etc. When has chandra in last 10-12 years ever done shrad for dhurudhara or given her any respect as the next emperors mother? Is it enough to say dhurudhra was my best friend??? What best friend?? A best friend is with you in your pain? Chandra was not there for Dhurudhara even on death bed?? Helena had to go and get him and nandini back from their mini honeymoon of sorts back to dhurudhara. Chandra never been a good husband to dhurudhara or helena or good taher for his kids and now hes giving speeches to convince them that he cares for them once nandini returned.

I doubt bindu ever respect chandra even after truth is revealed, chandra not covered himself in any glory as a father or a husband

For God's sake CGM ie Chandra Gupta Maurya is shown as a majnu..😆.He is The Founder of Mauryan Empire...and his son Bindusar is shown as a bewda ...😆...And here they are trying to show an epic love story of Chandra (the emperor) and Nandini(a fictional character)... There would never have been a problem if the characters were PURELY fictional or purely historical...There is a mismatch .here...Acharya Chanakya would have thrown out CGM and the entire Mauryan clan would have been on road if he had behaved like this...😆...

CGM loves Nandini only...What about Helena ???? 2 bacche kaha se aaye ...😆
And neglecting your duties and behaving lie a Devdas...Neglecting janta for your love...Which emperor does that ??? Is that we expect from the CGM...????

Relations ka mazaak bana ke rakh diya hai...Emperor just thinks about his wife ...neglects all other work...Neglects his son..baaki sab jaye bhaad me...😆...I will only do jaap of my wife... Dont care what my son feels ...how my citizens are living...

.And one wife...is busy in plotting and scheming...She shld have been used in present era against our enemies...bina hatyar ke barbaad kar degi 😆...Acharya hai...Pata nahi kaha hai...😆...Aisi situation me yuvraj to aisa hi niklega na,...😆

When wife returns ...the emperor is busy in romancing his wife...Nothing else...😆




The starting of the show itself was vague...

And what is shown here is absolute non sense.Same old scenes...I would say the show is just a copy paste of all old shows...where hero heroine were at loggerheads .they they turn Epic ...divine ...magical lovers..😆...

.Its a Comedy Circus...I repeat...😆...Then question arises why I am watching...Simple ...because of leap ..I love the new generation ...They are a treat to watch...That's what catch my interest...😆...

In the quest for TRP , we get non sense...stuff...
